We were off early for our day out to see the trees in Westonbirt, picking up Charlotte and Faith on the way.
When we arrived in the car park and loaded up the buggies, Charlotte realised that she had left her coat at home. She was very unhappy with this as she used to be a girl guide and is normally very prepared.
First stop when we arrived was the cafe for a quick feed and a cup of tea for the Mums'. There was so much going on though that I couldn't concentrate on the job in hand, so Mum gave up and let me look around with Faith.
We then set off for our walk around the trees. After a very bumpy start down a hill we stopped at the first bench and Mum had a sandwich and a look around.
Here are a few pictures of some of the beautiful trees that we saw.
I think the fresh air went to Mummy's head as she got carried away at one point with all the leaves, Faith just couldn't bare to watch!
Charlotte was trying to take some nice scenery pictures but Mummy was still messing around!
Then it started to rain! We just ran for the trees to shelter.
We decided that we couldn't stay under the trees all afternoon so we tried to protect ourselves as much as possible and made a run for it back to the cafe.
After Mummy changed my dirty bum, I then decided to fill twice more! She wasn't impressed.
We sat in the cafe just feeding and chatting and waiting for the rain to clear up a little bit so we could run back to the car.
We have a new family car now so when we eventually got back in it Mummy made sure that all wheels and shoes were covered in plastic bags to save getting mud everywhere. Charlotte thought it was really funny.
We got home in no time at all and I just chilled out waiting for Daddy to get home. The evening was uneventful and I was in bed at my normal time.
what a super day! Ta to both of you.
