Yummy Yellow Crayon

Rob was away so I sent him some good morning pictures.

I had to take everyone with me to Ellis' swimming lesson but luckily for me they were all really well behaved and it was fine.

As a treat I took them to McDonalds for lunch.  We ended up staying a lot longer than planned though because there was a huge downpour!

Yummy yellow crayon!

We went home to chill out and my Mum and Dad came over and helped out for ages.  They helped with dinner, bath and bed routine and left me to my evening, which I spent watching a Harry Potter film.  Lovely day.

Guns blazing!

Extremely lazy entry coming up but I'm totally shattered and just need to get some entries done.

A normal Monday.  Ellis went to school, Mum came over, Oscar and I went to Sing and Sign, home for lunch, then play time until we collected Ellis from school, had dinner and went to Ellis' swimming lesson.  That's it!

Yippeee!

My new phone was sat at the local post depot and Rob kindly agreed to pick it up for me, so I put the boys to bed and got our dinner on.  He wasn't gone long and then I had the opportunity to get to know my new gadget.  I love it!  It's going to take me a while to actually work out all the different things you can do but I love that the camera is better on it so hopefully the pictures I post on here will look better now.

The next day I was busy learning about my new phone when I suddenly noticed that time had slipped away from me and we were going to be late for Leo's gym class.  I bundled the boys in the car and only missed the first song, so not too bad.

Just before I had to get ready to get Ellis, I walked into the living room to find this had happened!

We went up Mum's as usual for dinner, which was fajitas.  I always try to stick to just having two but I end up having three.  They are delicious and Ellis eats them too which is good.

The following day was the same as any other Wednesday.  Leo went to preschool, Oscar and I went to Music with Mummy and that's about it.

I don't know why this video is squashed like it is.  I find it funny though.

This week Leo's swimming lesson was brought forward to 12pm instead of 12:30pm which means that I can now take Oscar and Leo swimming together, before he has his lesson.  Will hopefully do that next week.  He did really well this week.

Once he was out, I went to the park area for a bit and he was very excited.  I saw him nudge past a little girl and told him to be more careful and he carried on playing.  The little girls Mum saw that I had told him off.  So he carried on playing.  Later on, on a little cargo net climbing thing, the little girl fell off, at just the same moment that Leo ran over.  I scooped her up, she wasn't crying, asked if she was alright and with that the Mum comes over with guns blazing!  She started having a go at me and I did my very best to keep calm.  She said I should watch Leo more (I was stood in the park watching, not sat at a table drinking tea like she was) and said that he had pushed her off!  I was stood right there, and she wasn't, and I said I would have told him off if he had done something like that, but he hadn't and the little girl was fine, not even crying.  Anyway it went back and forth, on and on and eventually she walked off, only for Leo to blow a raspberry at her!  She turned around and said "see!?".  Blood boiling right about now!  I let it go, but 2 minutes after she left, they closed the park as it had been reported that someone had wet themselves in it, which they hadn't! GRRRRR!

I left the leisure centre, red, blotchy and fuming!

Ellis' football was inside for the first time as it kept raining and football was being cancelled too much.  I took some pictures and videos but it was very tricky to watch him, and keep an eye on Oscar and Leo.

Friday morning I helped Sophie get Maggie to preschool as she didn't have enough car seats for everyone and then we were supposed to be having a cuppa and a chat but I think she forgot and had planned to do something else.  This then freed up my morning to do some housework, how exciting! NOT.

After picking Leo up I went to Sophie's for a cuppa instead.

That afternoon, Ellis went to his friend Noah's house for dinner, and he was dropped off at nearly 6pm.  He had a fantastic time and I received a very good report back about him, which is always nice to hear.

The only pictures I have from the day are not really worth posting, apart from this one of Rob in his new outfit for walking a golf course tomorrow.

His friend Mat is turning 40 and so Rob is going to Reading for some golf on a posh course and a meal.  I couldn't go as it would mean finding a sitter. Never mind, I'm sure he will have a great time.

Ellis Zip Wire!

We all had a lovely day today.  I started the day off doing the early shift, with only Leo and Ellis to start with and shortly after Oscar woke up.

Breakfast took the usual hour to complete and then we just messed around until Daddy got up.

I then frantically got everyone and everything ready for a day out.

First stop was Ellis' swimming lesson, which went really well and again the teacher said how amazed she was at how much progress he had made in such a short time.  We are very proud of him.

The boys ate their lunch in the cafe and then we zoomed off to the zoo!  Rob and I grabbed a Subway on the way.

We got there and had to wait a while to get in the car park, which I didn't mind as the boys were having a nap and I wanted them to get a bit of sleep before running around the zoo.  On transferring them to the buggy, Oscar woke up.  Leo woke up just before we paid to go in!  Nightmare.

Nanny and Grandad Rennolds were there with their friends, and Kamron, so we met up with them briefiely at the water.

Then Rob and Ellis went on the high wire and Leo ran off with Kamron, Nanny and Grandad.  They get on so well together, it's cute.  Mum took pictures on her camera, and this is what they got up to.

There was quite a wait for the aerial walk but Oscar was as good as gold stuck in the buggy.   I let him out for a short run around but he was really good going back in the buggy.

The aerial walk pictures and videos.

Ellis was really really brave, and really really fast at the wire adventure.  Rob and I were both amazed at how well he did on his first go.  I filmed as much as I could but I was a nervous wreck! I know he is wearing a harness etc but it still wasn't nice to watch my baby doing it.  He on the other hand, thought it was too easy and loved it!

Here are the pictures and videos from the rest of the day.

We got home in enough time to give the boys some dinner, bath and bed.

On Sunday morning Rob did the early shift until 8:40am when I got up to get Ellis ready for his tennis lesson, which he did, and loved.

Rob came home, went to the toilet, then didn't come back! I found him back in bed, where he stayed until 1pm!

I messed about with the boys first thing, and tried out different settings on my camera.

I got Oscar and Leo down for a nap at the same time, as they were tired out from the zoo day and I just chilled out with Ellis and read my new book, 50 Shades Of Grey.

Rob got up and took Ellis to Thomas' party at the local soft play as I wasn't feeling very well and I spent some time with the younger boys who wanted to play outside, which is nice for them but it was very messy and wet!  They had fun though which was great.

Thomas' party.

The wet babas.

They got so wet that I had to strip them off and they ran around in the nude laughing and squealing. It was cute.  I'm not going to post the pictures on here.

Daddy cut the grass in the evening while I bathed and put the boys to bed.  Usually on a Sunday I would get out of doing the bath routine as I would be enjoying my yoga class, but Vivien has cancelled it! Boo!

Busy busy as always.  Trying to go to bed earlier these days which means less time for anything.  No TV watching on at the moment so that helps to free up some time and I don't go on Facebook anymore either so that frees up even more!  I missed it to start with but now I'm not that bothered.

Book is calling me, off to bed :o)   This entry took me a very, very, very long time.
