Pink!

This morning we went swimming again which was really good. The pool was quite warm and we were the only ones in there. Auntie Katie was in a really good mood and Mummy was messing around splashing everyone. Even Cousin Chloe was having a really good time being splashed as she usually hates it.

After swimming we went to our favourite restaurant for lunch. We are a very noisy table but it's all good fun. Chloe was really funny as she was having an "eating day" and she was licking the plates! Mummy was feeding me at the time so was unable to get a video clip.

After lunch Nanny Rennolds, Mummy and I made our way over to see my Auntie Nicky, Cousins Megan and Elin. I had lovely cuddles with them all.

Megan showed Nanny what she wanted "Santa" to bring her.

I have been dribbling a lot recently and Mummy gets through about 6/8 bibs a day but unfortunately she had forgotten my changing bag, so I had to borrow a bib from my Cousins, who are both girls. Well if it wasn't bad enough having to wear a pink bib, yes pink, they had to take a silly picture of me in it! How rude.

After driving home in the pouring rain, (we dropped Nanny off first) Mummy gave me a nice bath and then a really long feed as I hadn't eaten properly since lunch time. I didn't get to bed until about 7:45pm.

Mummy wanted to post a cute picture of me but couldn't select just one so posted these instead. Sorry.

Boring

Today was really boring. We stayed in waiting for a parcel to arrive and then we took a quick walk to Sainsburys and back.

I screamed all the way around Sainsburys and I think Mummy was pretty fed up by the end of it.

I got Mummy up a lot again last night so I don't think she was very pleased with me as I was in bed by 7. That is the earliest I have ever been to bed.

No pictures or videos today but Daddy did a wicked video of me dancing. Check it out...

New Trick

I did better with my sleeping again last night so Mummy was really happy when she looked over the edge of my crib this morning.

When I woke up, I noticed that Mummy had added some toys to the bar along my crib. It has a chicken hanging down and I spent ages this morning trying to wack it one. I managed it a few times and it was really good fun.

Mummy morning was at our house today and it was really nice just sat around chatting and playing.

I have just started to do a new thing today of raising my legs up as far as I can and then I try to grab my toes. I make lots of noise about it too.

Charlotte and Faith stayed for lunch which was really nice.

After lunch we went for a walk and Mummy put me in the sling facing out. The wind was quite strong and it hit me in the face causing me to hold my breath. I could barely breathe all the way home. Then when we were nearly back, it started to rain! I was cold, wet and unable to breathe!

Mummy gave me a long feed and then put me into bed where I stayed for an hour.

The long nap helped put me back into a better mood and Mummy let me have some more door swinging time while she cooked dinner.

Nic came over to pick up my old bed as she will be using it for her new baby which is due in May. She is nearly half way already. Mummy is really jealous of her and can't wait to be pregnant again. I think she is mad!

I had a quick bath and feed and was in bed by 7:30. I was shattered again as I didn't have very much sleep today.

How Heavy!?

Daddy didn't go out in the end but Mummy did have an early night and I only woke her twice. She was definitely feeling better this morning.

Nanny Rennolds came over at about 10:30 and we all went to Jolly Babies together. This week Nanny managed to capture a few videos and a picture of us doing our dancing and singing.

I was so tired after all that, that I fell asleep in the car. We quickly stopped in Sainsburys for a few items and then went home for dinner and another sleep.

It wasn't long before I was back in the buggy and on my way to be weighed by the health visitor, Angie.

Well I am certainly growing well. I am 16 weeks old and I weigh 16lb 3oz and I am 65.5cm long. That is above average for both.

Mummy mentioned the fact that I was waking a lot in the night time and Angie suggested that it wouldn't be long before Mummy could give me some baby rice to try. It wouldn't be weaning as such but just kind of getting me used to the spoon and the act of eating - if that makes sense. Mummy wants to wait until I am at least 5 months old before she starts doing that.

We marched home again and after a quick feed, we were back in the car again! This time we went shopping. Well, I got so bored that I started to let Mummy and Nanny know about it. So Mummy picked me up and carried me around which made it a bit better.
Back at home I had some more food and just chilled out on my mat waiting for bath time.

I didn't get to see Daddy tonight as he was busy doing things on computers and so Mummy bathed me and put me to bed early as I was shattered. I'm seeing all my friends tomorrow and I can't wait. I haven't seen Faith properly in ages! I hope she hasn't forgotten me.

Tired

Mummy received a late e-mail about the yoga so we did end up going. We were running late as usual though.

Unfortunately I got Mummy up 5 times in the night and 3 of the times I was hungry. I just couldn't help it. This meant that after yoga Mummy was so tired that she couldn't be bothered to do anything.

We went home for some lunch and then we went over to Nanny Rennolds' house. We were supposed to stay for one cup of tea and then go to the shops and Nanny Georges' house but I had a 45 minute feed and then Mummy was so tired that she couldn't get off her huge bum to go out. I don't think she was as tired as my Cousin Chloe.

We eventually got home and Mummy put me down for a nap whilst she sorted the washing, dishes and general tidying.

Daddy is out tonight and I think Mummy will be getting an early night. I hope I sleep better for her today.

Daddy's Home!

I got one hell of a surprise on Saturday morning, Daddy was in bed with us! I say us because Mummy always brings me in to the bed when I wake at 6am.

For a while I was quite shy about seeing Daddy.

We played around a lot and then went out for a lovely walk down to the shops. It was very cold though and on the way home I was very fed up so Mummy and Daddy marched all the way home.

We spent the rest of the afternoon just playing and spending time together.

In the evening Daddy bathed me which was really good fun and then Mummy fed me and I went to bed. In my bed though were some of my friends. Mummy had put some teddies in to keep me from bashing my hands and head on the wooden bars.

Sunday morning, Daddy let Mummy have a little bit of lie in but then he went out to meet up with some friends.

Mummy dressed me in a really cool outfit and then we went up to Nanny Rennolds' house so that she could do our ironing for us. We love her very much for doing that. Mummy has ordered a new iron which should arrive soon.

Nanny propped me up on her bed and I just watched her doing hair.

Back at home, Mummy cooked a lovely meal for her and Daddy and I just sat and watched. It isn't that long before I will be sat in my highchair trying solid food for the first time. Mummy isn't looking forward to it but I can't wait.

I was allowed some more door swing time today which is well cool.

Daddy and I then messed around until it was time for my bath, feed and bed.

We are supposed to be going to the yoga class tomorrow but we don't know where it is being held. I suppose we will miss it this week.

Yuck!

We went swimming today as normal but we were only in the pool for ten minutes until we were evacuated due to the fact that someone had done a poo in the pool! That is disgusting. I was really cold though and Mummy was going to get out anyway.

Cousin Chloe and Ashlee had a go in the yellow taxi machine thing.

Kamron was in his buggy shouting at Mummy as she was eating an apple and he wanted it. He likes to eat.

Angela joined us today which was really nice.

After lunch Mummy and I went home and just pottered around the house.

Daddy is due home tonight but I think he will be back after I have gone to bed. Nevermind though I get to spend the whole weekend with him.

Buggy Brigade

We were up nice and early today and I had fun playing with Mummy.

I had some tummy time and Mummy took some pictures and a short video.

I think I look rather intelligent in this photo.

Nanny Rennolds and Cousin Kamron arrived around 10:30 and we went off in the car to Asda to do the food shopping. We haven't done it in ages so Mummy had lots to get.

The shopping took us 2 hours so by the time we had got back and had lunch, it was time to walk down to the library to hear the nursery rhymes. I had a sleep but this time Kamron was awake to enjoy it. Naomi, Iestyn, Sarah and Toby all arrived too which was a nice surprise.

Nanny deserved a drink after all her hard work looking after Kamron so we popped over the road to the pub. We were the buggy brigade!

On the walk home, I fell asleep and didn't wake up for over an hour! Mummy was very surprised.

I eventually had a feed as I had been messing around all day and hadn't really fed properly and then I had about half an hour in the door swing. I love that thing!

Bath time was good fun but I was soon in bed and I didn't want to be. Poor Mummy had to try to get me to sleep. She managed it eventually.

Sssshhh don't tell Daddy!

We had a nice lie in today but then ended up running late for the Mummy morning.

We arrived just as Sarah was making the cups of tea, perfect timing.

I had a really good time watching Iestyn get carrot all over his Mummy and Sophie made me cry at first. I was soon smiling though as she is so cute.

Anna had a sleep on the floor and I joined her not long after.

When we left, Mummy didn't want to go home really but couldn't get hold of Nanny so decided it was probably for the best.

Mummy spent the time at home trying to sort out the spare room which is in a real mess. I tried to help her out but as you can see I wasn't much use.

Whilst Mummy was trying to work, she let me have a rattle which is supposed to be for Christmas. We said we wouldn't tell Daddy.

Mummy let me have another go in the door swing. I was in it for ages and I really enjoyed it. I hope I get to do it again tomorrow.

I had a really nice bath and a long feed before I was put in bed at 7:30pm.

Chatterbox

Today we had an easy start just relaxing at home and then we made our way to Jolly Babies.

We did loads of new dancing and singing today and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully one day Daddy will come with me and see what we do.

We had a quick chat with Charlotte, her Mummy and Faith before heading to the shops for some more Christmas presents.

It was so cold out today that Mummy didn't shop for long and we were soon home in our nice warm house.

I spent some time trying to keep up with the lights on my play mat.

Apparently I did a lot of talking today and Mummy managed to get some if it on video.

I didn't want to go to bed tonight and Mummy struggled to get me to sleep. I first went to bed at 7:30 but I didn't settle until gone 8:30. Poor Mummy, I think she will be getting an early night now.

Birthday Party

Cousin Kamron is 1 today, so we are going to go to his party at Nanny Rennolds' house later on.

First stop though was our yoga class. It was at a different house today and only 2 people showed up, including us!

Mummy enjoyed the class as it was like having a personal trainer.

For lunch today we went to see Jaidan, Sabriel and Leighton Wilson. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures but hopefully we are seeing them again next Monday so I will write more then.

The weather was really horrible today so we didn't get to go out for a walk.

I was so tired by the time we left the Wilson house that I fell asleep as soon as Mummy put me in the car seat.

The party was amazing! I had so much fun having loads of cuddles from everyone. Kamron, Chloe, Charley, Morgan and Ria were there. There were loads of prezzies and balloons. I was allowed to take a balloon home too. Mine had Postman Pat on it.

Here are some pictures and videos of the party.

Mummy and I are really missing Daddy. The house is so quiet and I miss being able to have our long chats together in the evening. He is so funny, he makes me laugh. Mummy keeps giving me kisses and telling me they are from Daddy, that is so cute.

I love you Daddy and can't wait to see you on Friday.

Rodeo Mini-Rob

Daddy looked after me again this morning whilst Mummy went to the shops to get some bread for the bacon sandwiches.

I was put up to bed and Mummy, Daddy and Pete had a late breakfast before saying goodbye to Pete at about lunchtime.

Mummy and Daddy then pounced on me and tied me into this sling thing and hung me from a door! I didn't really know what to do as you can tell from this rather long boring video.

After all the excitement Mummy did some ironing and Daddy was on his laptop for a few hours before we packed up the car and headed to Nanny and Granddad Rennolds' house.

Once there, Mummy and Daddy had sandwiches with tea and I waited patiently for my dinner.

I had a huge feed and filled my belly up so that it was big and round. Mummy said I haven't done that recently so I must be feeling okay today.

Nanny helped me to try out another new thing today. I got to have a ride on Princess the pink pony.

We got home a bit later than planned but I was still in the bath by about 6:45pm. I then had another huge feed and a nice cuddle with Daddy before going to bed at about 8pm.

Daddy is working away this week and Mummy was really sad to see him go. It wont be long before he is home again though and he will be able to see us on the blog each day.

Night, night Daddy, we love you. xxx

Freezing!

Daddy looked after me this morning which was really nice. Mummy was allowed to stay in bed and didn't come down until about 10:30.

Daddy always lets me sit on the big boys chair and I love it.

We spent the morning tidying the house as we have a guest coming. His name is Peter but we call him Pete and Daddy used to work with him.

He arrived around lunch time and it wasn't long before we were sat outside at a pub.

Mummy took some photos of Daddy and I, saying that we looked alike. I can't see any similarities really!

Daddy then took some photos of me and Mummy as we don't often have our photo taken together.

I'm for ever blowing bubbles!

It was so cold outside that I started to get a bit fed up. We all moved inside and I eventually calmed down enough to have a feed.

We stopped in Marks & Spencer on the way home to buy some cakes and Mum and I popped into Mothercare to get me some long sleeved vests.

Daddy was out tonight with Pete so Mummy bathed me and put me to bed. Not sure what is happening tomorrow, we shall soon see.

Small Teaser

Well my first night in my new bed didn't go as well as Mummy would have wanted but it was still quite good. I woke at 1am, 3:15am and then again at 7am.

We had a leisurely start to the morning just playing in the living room until it was time to leave for swimming.

Today Jaimie, Ria, Sue and Ashlee were joining us which should be extra fun.

Swimming was amazing. Mummy dunked me and I felt fine after and then I kicked my legs as hard as I could for ages. Mummy was very pleased. I can't wait for Daddy to see how I have improved.

Ria didn't like the pool today for some reason so Jaimie got out early with her.

Afterwards we went to a nice bar for lunch. I slept pretty much the whole time and was only woken to have a quick feed.

We were there a long time before heading off to a toy store that specialises in wooden toys - Mummy's favourite.

The shop was amazing and we were like, well, kids in a toy shop! Mummy carried me around and I looked at all the brightly coloured toys.

Mummy picked out a nice truck for Nanny Rennolds to buy me for Christmas - I'm not supposed to know about it yet though. I will post a picture for you when I get it.

We left early as we were due to go to see Nanny and Granddad George. Uncle Dave would be at work.

We arrived a bit later than we thought but we had a lovely visit. I sat with Nanny and she showed me Granddads fishes. My favourite is the big yellow one who likes bubbles called a Yellow Tang. I think Mummy calls him Sunny.

On our way home we had 2 choices, one to go to Nanny and Granddad Rennolds' house or two to go home. Mum chose to go home and in doing so went past a policeman checking people's speed. Mummy wasn't too happy so I assume she may have been going too fast. Time will tell.

Back at home I spent the evening on my mat grabbing at my toys. I have become quite good at it now.

Boy did I get Mummy a good one! Every day Mummy puts me on my front and then asks me to roll over like some kind of puppy. Well today I hovered on the edge for ages but didn't actually go. You should have seen her, it was so funny.

The evening was nice too. I sat on the table in my Bumbo watching Mummy and Daddy have dinner together (I can't wait to join them) and just chatting away, before I had my bath a bit earlier than normal, followed by a long feed and then bed. I still didn't go to bed until 8pm even though I had my bath at 6:30pm. I think Mummy may be getting an early night too after such a busy day.
