Day 23 - Potter

Had a lovely lie in until gone 9 this morning.  I'm not sleeping but I'm relaxing.  The boys obviously can't make their own breakfast so I get up and sort that out for them.  By 9 they're nagging me as obviously they want their screen time.

I checked my phone and was greeted with a new photo of my new nephew.  Still no official name yet.

I had a lovely surprise arrive just after lunch.  What better way to brighten someone's day. 😊😊  I love tulips.  Thanks Mum and Dad x

Our fridge was running very low so used it as an opportunity to clean it out, did a bit more Lego and just generally pottered.  The day just went.  Mum and Dad popped over to pick up their car so they could pick up Kate and baby from the hospital and dropped off some Easter eggs for the boys.  It was lovely to see them but also really cruel that we couldn't all have a hug.  Pictures would have to do.

I did manage to have some downtime in the garden with a beer and my book.  I never did manage to read any of it but it looks better to have a book in the picture and not just a beer.😂😂

I wasn't left alone for long. 😊

I really have no idea what I actually did with my day.  The boys were all happy and played together well, Rob was busy and I just got a few bits done.  It's all very strange at the moment and yet again I am into a new day and I'm still up.    Going to try and get up at a sensible time tomorrow and go for a jog early on and I plan to sort the shed.  Oooh lucky me 😄  I also plan to have some down time tomorrow too.  Might watch a film or just sit down. 😊  I'm just so restless.  Even on an evening I can't focus on one thing. 

Kate and baby made it home safely and all seems to be going well.  I've been getting regular pictures of the cutie.

Right I'd better be off as the Easter bunny needs to come in and hide some eggs.🐰
