Monday morning and things were getting back to normal. Ellis went to preschool and Leo and I just pottered about until it was time to pick him again.
For dinner we had been invited over to Sophie, Maggie and Ted's house so we went there straight after picking Ellis up.
The guys played nicely in the garden, making a right old mess with dirty water and sand.
We had some food, with the beastie boys copying each other with banging on the table and making lots of noise.
We were home by 5:45 and the boys flopped in front of the TV before an early bath and bed.
I say early but it was 6:50.
The following morning I took some pictures of the boys having breakfast and sent them to Daddy to say good marnin.
We had Leo's gym class first thing which was wicked fun and Leo always has such an excellent time. It's actually been really nice having Ellis there too as Leo copies him and hasn't been shy one bit.
At home Leo had a nap and Ellis and I had our lunch.
I ended up having to wake Leo up and put him in the car as we were running late for a health visitor appointment.
Oscar was weighed and he had slipped down the growth chart a little bit but not anything to cause concern. He now weighs 14lbs 1oz and the health visitor was pleased with his progress.
We walked to the library where we met up with Sally, Anna and William for story time which was great fun. They didn't really listen too well to the story but after it was finished they did some colouring and drawing. They made snakes, putting lots of stickers on it and then cutting it out. Leo accidentally broke Ellis' so I took a spare one for him to make at home. It was great for Leo to be doing some arty stuff and he seemed to enjoy it.
Then we went to the park and met with Naomi, Iestyn and Harri. We sat in the big boy park and I was a little worried about Leo but he managed fine. I think Rob would have had a heart attack though if he had seen what he was doing.
Oscar and I chilled in the shade and I think we all had a lovely time, planning to do it the following week if the weather was okay, which it rarely is.
Oscar fell asleep by the time we got home, so I was able to bath the older boys and get them to bed before sorting Oscar out for bed.
He was quite a cheeky monkey though and didn't go down until 9:30. Saying he was a cheeky monkey is very tame as basically he screamed the house down until he could scream no more. The poor baba just has so much wind that gets stuck and causes him pain. I just sit there looking at him wishing I could take the pain away.
The boys were all up nice and early and I didn't feel too bad from very little sleep, so before I even had the chance to open the blinds, we were making rivers, mountains, bridges and going for long adventurous walks.
Oscar had another snooze and I was able to clear up the house a bit before taking Ellis to preschool.
At preschool Ellis had a group picture taken again which will be his last one as he is leaving at the end of July :o(
I had to take Oscar to the doctors for his jabs. It was 2 needles into his little chubby thighs. It went really well though and he hardly cried.
Ellis had his music class in the afternoon and Rob was home in the evening for a change as he usually comes home on Tuesday.
Oscar fed well and went to bed, awake, at 8:30pm and got himself off to sleep. What a good boy!
I know the pictures are poor but they are from my phone. Better than nothing I suppose.
