Thursday the 16th started off well and I bundled all the kids into a buggy to take some stuff to the post office.
I tried to take a picture of me and Baba but it didn't work too well as you can see.
Boys were being so good that I let them have a little treat.
Ellis ended up looking like he had just stepped out of an old French film.
My lovely mate Sophie had Leo for me so that I could take Ellis to his swimming lesson. It makes life so much easier and I actually get to see him swim.
After picking Leo up we went up to my Mum's house where they had bought me some flowers and magazines, which was very lovely of them.
I built an ace track, which obviously I was very pleased with, but the boys didn't play with it! Good job too really as I didn't want them messing it up.
We got home slightly earlier than normal as I there was a committee meeting being held at mine for the first time, so I shoved them all in bed and sorted the place out as best as I could. Sophie came along too for the first time and so she helped me with Oscar while I sorted chairs and drinks out etc.
The meeting went well I think and everyone left just after 11pm.
I was really tired the following day after a busy night with 3 restless boys, at various times waking up wanting different things. It's really hard work when it's just me to deal with their needs, especially in the middle of the night when I'm feeding one and another is screaming, waking up the other!
So my morning needed to be as calm as possible, so I set my little TV addicts up in front of their favourite programs.
They are all growing up so quickly! I'm trying hard to cherish it all before it's gone but that is difficult sometimes as it is so busy with the 3 of them that I'm just too involved in getting through the day alive!
For Fathers Day, the preschool were asking Daddies and Grandads to come in for some cakes and tea and little bit of a play. Ellis' Daddy couldn't make it so my Daddy kindly drove over to go with Ellis. I managed to capture a sneaky snap of my Dad sat on the tiny chairs, at the tiny tables, surrounded by tiny people but can't post it as obviously others are in it that wouldn't appreciate it I'm sure.
I went home and fed Oscar and Leo had a nap.
Oscar chilled and I pottered doing chores.
When Leo woke up we had lunch and I noticed when he was playing that he had a dark spot on his head. I realised that it was his hair! SHOCK HORROR! My little blondie has dark hair coming! I'm not happy but knew it would come soon enough. I suspect you think I'm nuts looking at this picture, but trust me it is bad. :o)
THE DARK SPOT!
We walked round to pick Ellis up and he was really excited about Grandad being there and really thought he was going to be at our house when he got back. I tried to explain that he wouldn't be but got upset when he realised that I was actually telling the truth. They had a little phone conversation and things were fine again.
The boys were up a little late as things just took a long time for some reason and they played while I sorted things out. These pictures Ellis took, without me knowing I must add. I love putting the pictures from the camera on the computer only to find 100s taken by him. Sneaky.
They eventually got to bed and Leo fell asleep with his feet up! You might be able to just make it out from this picture.
Rob was home. He came home around 5pm, had some food, had a sleep then went out at 6:30pm to do something with the car.
I spent my evening feeding, winding, feeding, winding and repeat, until about 10:10pm. I did take these with the macro mode.
Lush.
Here are some beautiful pictures of my lovely grandsons, I think at the moment little Ellis is the cutest, he has such a sweet little face, and he is being such a smashing little boy. Well to his nanny at least. I wish you could have been my mum, I think you are amazing at being a mummy, your fun, and very very correct in everything you do. I'm very proud of you, and wished you lived a little bit closer to me, so I could help out at a drop of a hat. Who knows one day "A" x x x x
