Leo at 3 months.
Ellis at 3 months.
Even though it was the last day I wanted to get in a full day of fun, and we certainly did as I had hundreds of pictures and videos to sort for this entry.
First of all we had to pack up the whole holiday home into the car and park the car back in the main car park again, which we did and it didn't take too long.
We walked back down to the lake and the boys went out on a pedalo. They first had to put on their life jackets, then to pick a pedalo.
Once seated, they were off!
I barked orders from the shore and poor Rob had to peddle them up and down the lake. He said it was really hard and his legs were killing him.
We transferred Leo into the buggy and he stayed asleep which was great as we wanted to go to the Pancake House for lunch and I didn't think he would eat anything from there so I knew we could have a nice lunch without him causing chaos.
We found a seat in the busy restaurant and they took our order. I couldn't imagine having a savoury pancake so went with apple, cinnamon and ice cream, yum yum. Ellis had a make your own, which just came with tons of sauce and sweets and Rob had a chicken chili thing.
Ellis had loads of fun making his. The videos are a bit long.
We realised after eating that we didn't have the swimming bag with us and it must have been put in the car that morning. Rob agreed to go and get the bag with Ellis and as Leo had woken up I said I would wait by the pool and get him some lunch.
We waited patiently and once they were back and Leo had finished his food, we went into the pool where the boys confidence with the water could now be seen.
The wave machine was now a big hit with both boys.
The weather outside was horrid but we were warm and having fun inside.
We tried to have a last go on everything. We went on the flumes, I went down the rapids, the boys did the slides, we did the toddler pool, the outside pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately Leo had a little accident so it took a while for me to clear that up and I also had to fit in feeding Oscar which was quite difficult in a wet swimming costume, but I managed it and for the most part he was quite happy.
I got some pictures and video of him enjoying the toddler pool.
The slides in the toddler pool were also very good but Ellis can get a bit impatient and had at one point pushed Leo face first down one slide, hence why we are shouting at him in the video.
It was getting really late and I had made sandwiches to have by the pool before getting out and going home. We ate all our food then for some reason I ended up getting out with just Oscar where I took a couple of pictures of him waiting for me.
I helped get everyone else sorted and eventually we made it back to the car. We went straight home, put the boys to be and unpacked the car. Obviously I spent my evening sorting it all out!
It was a fantastic holiday and we can't wait to go again next year, the boys are already nagging us about it too. It would be good to go with more adults so we could have a bit of hands free time too and I definitely want to be more organised and book us in for doing some things. I better start thinking and planning now as it will soon be next year!
