The late night didn't stop the boys from waking up early! Rob stayed in bed and I got up to do breakfast, clear up, did some washing, sorted out the drying and packed the bags ready for the day.
We chilled out at the lodge for the first part of the morning, watching the rain, the ducks and TV.
Once Rob was ready we went out for a walk around, and a splash in some muddy puddles with our new wellies.
The boy's legs were getting tired so we jumped on the land train to take us back to the plaza. We got off there because Oscar was not happy being sat still.
We got off the train and decided to walk back to the lodge for some lunch rather than try and attempt to find somewhere to eat inside. The boys were not happy about that but we managed to drag one back and Leo followed the trail of puddles.
We ate and then Leo went for a nap. We tried to get Ellis to have a sleep but he was against the idea and said he could stay awake all day and night!
We set him up with the laptop so that he could relax a bit and it wasn't long before..
...he fell asleep.
My other tired baby was chilling in his chair.
Once Leo was up, it was raining, but the ducks were out so we fed them.
Ellis finished his nap and we still had plenty of hours left in the day so we went back to the plaza for another swim.
Leo even went down a big flume with Mummy and Daddy. Ellis wouldn't go on it though. We spent lots of time in the outdoor pool where I met a Mum of 3 babies. We started chatting about stuff and she asked me how Oscar was getting on with solids! I was a bit confused as the WHO recommend exclusively breastfeeding for the first 6 months which is what I've done with Ellis and Leo so she then looked at me confused saying she started weaning one of hers at 9 weeks, then 12 weeks and 14 weeks! She said the milk just wasn't enough. Each to their own. She thought I was strange and I her.
We were having so much fun that we didn't realise that time was passing by and we hadn't had any dinner and the pool side cafe was shutting soon. We got there with no time to spare as they were shut really but I begged them to feed the kids and they said they would so we sat and ate some greasy crap.
We did a bit more swimming before getting out and trying the drying machine. It didn't work very well but it was a bit of fun.
The boys weren't any better at going to bed and Oscar was asleep at 10pm so Rob and I chilled out for a little bit before bed.
