Sicky Bad

Daddy was off work today but he still isn't feeling too well and Mummy woke up feeling quite ill too.

We were supposed to go swimming together as a family but Mummy and Daddy just didn't feel up to it, so we just hung around the house doing nothing.

Daddy made Mummy lunch and I just stared at her eating it until she was finished.

Mummy was really fed up in the afternoon but was saved by a phonecall from Nanny Rennolds.

We took off in the car, picked up Nanny and then went to a new Morrisons store that had opened up in the area. Mummy and Nanny loved it there. They kept going on about how nice it was and that they had a nice feeling about it. There was one concern though, Nanny was worried about who was going to buy all this nice food on the shelves. Strange I know.

We dropped Nanny off and then back at home I was put straight to bed to finish off my hour long nap.

Mummy really isn't feeling well today. She said everything from the shoulders up hurts and then later on said that her whole body was achy. I hope she feels better soon.

Daddy went out in the evening to buy Mummy's Christmas presents and Mummy and I played games until it was my bed time. At bath time, Mummy was saying this funny sounding word, yuck, and I found it so funny!

We didn't take any pictures today so here is just a few of me taken the other day. Enjoy.

Scream

Saturday morning, Mummy and Daddy wanted to do the food shopping as they hadn't been in a long time. It took ages and I was so bored that I fell asleep.

In the early afternoon I had a nap but I was joined by Mummy today which was nice.

In the evening Nanny phoned to say that she was putting up the Christmas tree so Mummy disappeared for a couple of hours.

Whilst Mummy was away, Daddy read Faith's blog and got an idea for a new trick I could do. We tried it and you can see the results in the video but Daddy wouldn't let Mummy show the whole thing as I took a little stumble at the end.

I have started to find my voice box recently and I am learning to scream. I think it's really funny but Mummy always covers her ears.

Before my bath time, Mummy sat with me and we read several books together. I love my books and I hope I get some new ones for Christmas.

Sunday morning and Mummy woke up very happy as I only woke for 2 feeds last night. Plus, it was 9:10am and I was still snoozing! She got me and took me downstairs to change my very, very full nappy.

Mummy caught Daddy in the act of snoring. He claims he doesn't snore so she did a short video to prove it.

At lunch time we met up with Wayne, Nic, small bump, Simon and Ethan. Tilly couldn't make it as she was working. We had a really nice time, chatting, eating and dribbling. Wayne and Nic bought me a present and I can't wait to open it.

After a quick stop home for a feed we went back out again to Nanny George's house. She has bought me a new chair and mat for when I visit. I tried out the new chair and Nanny took photos of me. We didn't stay long but we left with a massive bag of presents for me. Wicked.

We then moved on to see Leighton, Jaidan and Sabriel. I was having my hour snooze when we arrived so I was just put on a bed to carry on sleeping. Mummy woke me up a bit later of course.

I had a lovely time looking at Sabriel's space ship and I received loads more presents. I already know that I have been spoilt this year. I can't wait to see what is in all the nicely wrapped parcels.

Jaidan let Mummy borrow a rubber ice cube tray which she will use to freeze my purees for when I start to be weaned. Exciting stuff.

Next stop was to where Mummy used to go line dancing. It was party night so it was very loud and lots of people there. As soon as we walked in the lights were bright and some lady tried to grab me from Mummy. I wasn't happy about this at all and let it be known.

I was soon put at ease by Mummy and realised that the lady, Dot, was so lovely and I gave her huge smiles.

I had cuddles with a few people and even had a little bit of dance with Nanny. It was really good fun.

We didn't stay long and we were soon home. I was put in the bath straight away, fed and put in bed. I sang to myself for a bit, before going to sleep. What a busy weekend.

Long Lunch

Another nice lie in with Mummy which was really good for both of us. I'm still not really sleeping that well. I do sleep of course but it's just in very small blocks. I think after Christmas Mummy is going to start giving me solids, so this may help me to sleep longer as I wont be waking up hungry all the time.

We made it to swimming and the pool today was actually really good. It was really warm and clean. We spent ages in there just splashing around and having fun.

We eventually got out and went to the pub for lunch.

We had quite a long lunch and by the time we got home, I was allowed a quick nap before getting back into the car and going to Twinkling Stars.

I had an amazing time at the baby gym. We started off by doing a warm up dance and then there was this massive floaty sheet which had loads of bright colours on it. We made it do waves and we laid under it while it was pulled back and forth over us. It was wicked. We were then given time to go on different pieces of apparatus around the hall. The thing I liked the best is a wedge shaped mat. Mummy laid me on my back at the top of the wedge and then I roll myself down all the way to the bottom. I roll from my back, to my front, to my back again and then finish on my front. It's really good fun and it seems to make Mummy very happy.

Back at home, I had a sleep and Mummy was turfing out the kitchen cupboards. Not really sure what or why she was doing it.

Daddy was out tonight on his Christmas do so I sat with Mummy reading books before going for my bath. I had a huge feed and was put into my bed. Mummy went to bed early too.

Lunch Dates

This morning we pottered around the house waiting for the post lady to deliver some pictures that Mummy had requested from Photobox.

I became so bored of waiting, I fell asleep.

Just after midday we made our way into town to meet up with Mummy's friends from work.

Mummy and the girls, Helen and Louise, had a lovely time chatting about work, Christmas and other stuff. I sat with Helen a couple of times reading my book and trying to eat her chocolate bar.

By the time we left I was really hungry and getting tired so I wasn't very happy about not being fed straight away. I wasn't feeling too bad once I was tucked up in my new foot muff in the buggy.

Next stop was Starbucks to meet Auntie Lucy for a cuppa and a muffin. I had my feed and promptly fell asleep. Mummy laid me in the buggy to nap while she caught up with Lucy.

When I woke up I had nice cuddles with Auntie Lucy before we had to head back home.

At home, I had another feed and was soon back in the buggy for a long walk to the post office and back. It was very chilly on my face and hands but the rest of me was nice and warm.

We made it back just after Daddy and got on with sorting out dinner. While Mummy was cooking she put me in my highchair with my food things to play with. I'm slowly getting used to them.

The evening was finished off with the usual routine. Very busy day planned tomorrow.

Secret Santa

I was a naughty boy last night and got Mummy up every 2 hours starting from 12:00am, so Mummy didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

I got Mummy up early even though she was still half asleep. I was dressed, changed and taken downstairs for my breakfast, where I promptly fell back to sleep. Mummy didn't see the funny side of that.

I wore a shirt for the first time today and looked like a proper grown-up.

We left for the party and we picked up Faith and Charlotte on the way.

The party was at Naomi and Iestyn's house. We all arrived and did the usual thing of playing, chatting and drinking tea.

Mummy was really excited because we had done a Secret Santa gift. All the gifts were in a big bag and ready to give out, and Mummy kept asking, when can we open them. She was definitely the big kid of the day.

Mummy was eventually allowed to give out the gifts.

I received a wooden stacking rings toy and it is amazing. Thank you Secret Santa. xxx

Mummy was feeding me when she realised that we had to leave as I had an appointment at the doctors for my last set of jabs until I am 1. We quickly packed up and took Charlotte and Faith home before meeting Daddy at the surgery.

The first 2 jabs were not too bad but the last one really stung and I really cried. Mummy gave me lovely cuddles but it just wasn't enough.

Mummy fed me when we got home and I had a little snooze but soon woke up feeling rather sorry for myself. I didn't really settle for the rest of the afternoon and all I wanted was to be held by Mummy all the time. This meant that Mummy couldn't get anything done.

Daddy came home and we all sat at the table and I watched them having dinner. It won't be long until I will be joining them.

To give Mummy a break, Daddy gave me a bath, brushed my teeth, (gums), and put me in my pyjamas. He then handed me to Mummy for my last feed, story, sleeping bag and bed. I was shattered so I hope I sleep well tonight.

Roll To The Side

We had a relaxing start to the day. I was fed in bed at 7 and then went back to sleep until nearly 9. Mummy was well pleased.

We went to Jolly Babies. It is the last one for this year and a couple of people will be leaving us as they are getting too old for this class.

Iestyn was there and he has been unwell too. He had a bad eye. I hope he feels better for our party tomorrow.

Jolly Babies was good fun but very tiring. I fell asleep in the car and was put in bed when we got home.

Mummy spent some time doing Christmas cards and trying to set up the slide show on the blog. It kind of works.

We started to walk to the post office after lunch, but we soon realised that we wouldn't be able to get there, and back to the health visitor by 2, so we just turned around and went to the shops by the doctors.

I was weighed today and I am now 16lb 13oz. Not as much weight gain as I normally do but I haven't been feeling 100%.

When we got home we spent ages playing, dancing, singing, making faces and chatting to each other. It was really good fun.

I had some time on my mat too and I have started to move around a bit now, much to Mummy's horror.

When Daddy got home, I showed him my new trick too and he was really pleased with me. When Mummy takes my socks off, I can now grab my toes too. It probably sounds so simple to all of you but to me it is really hard and has taken me ages to get this far, well 4 and a bit months.

I had a big bath with Mummy again and then a feed and bed, usual routine really. I have a party with my friends tomorrow and I can't wait, I'm not even sure what I'm going to wear yet.

Fly By

Monday morning means yoga class. It also means we have to get up early.

We arrived on time and set about chatting with everyone before Mummy got on with doing some work.

Vivien did her very best to keep the boys occupied while the Mummies did their breathing exercises.

We were at yoga for a long time and I didn't sleep once because I was being amused by Vivien. As soon as Mummy laid me on the floor to put my coat on, I fell asleep. I have just started to get used to being moved whilst I am asleep so Mummy was able to put me in the car and we made our way home.

We had lunch and then there was a knock on the door. It was Nanny Rennolds who had dropped in for a surprise visit.

We walked down to the local shops and did some shopping and then Nanny went home.

Mummy and I played loads until Daddy came home. I had a bath, short feed as I was so tired and then I was in my bed again. Where do the days go?

Eating Out

This morning Mummy and I got up early and I played on my mat while Mummy had her breakfast.

Then after I was dressed, I sat in my Bumbo on the kitchen table watching Mummy empty the dishwasher and just pottering about. We then had a photography session.

We had a lunch date today at 12 and we were running a bit late as always. Daddy forgot to pick up his sun glasses so he had to borrow Mummy's. He looked funny.

We arrived at around the same time as everyone else and we all sat together on this long table.

I was passed around which was nice as I was amused for a long time.

I sat with Daddy.

I sat with Nanny.

I sat with Jaimie.

I sat with Richard.

I sat with Grandad and I dribbled all over his shirt. He didn't mind though.

Ria was there too, just chilling in her buggy.

Mummy took a couple of photos of Nanny with her best friend Sue.

I took Ria's lead and decided to have a quick snooze.

Mummy took a wicked photo of me but unfortunately it has come out a bit blurry. We thought we would show you anyway.

We didn't leave the bar until 4 so it was my nap time and I was put straight to bed when we got in.

The evening was pretty relaxed, I went in my door swing and played a new game with Daddy which I loved.

Not long after this I was put in my bed.

Christmas Party

Another busy day for the new George family.

We were woken by the alarm this morning at 8:30 and managed to get ourselves ready for the party in time to take some pictures before we left.

We arrived at the party a little bit late but it hadn't actually started. We sat next to Sally and Anna but it was right by the heater and it was very hot. Sally turned it off but it was too late.

We had an amazing time but there were so many people there that I was a bit surprised by it all.

Nick, Sally's husband was running a little bit late but we managed to get pictures of the three of them when he arrived.

Sharon and Sophie were there with her Daddy and Nanny.

Iestyn, Naomi and his Daddy Wyn were there.

Then last but not least, Faith and her Mummy and Daddy Charlotte and Mark were there.

I think Daddy had a good time. He helped me dance to the songs and wore himself out lifting me up and down.

We played with musical instruments.

Then we did some dancing too.

We all had a great time and finished off the party with a group photo.

Mummy had to feed me at the party as I was starving so she missed the chatting bit at the end. Never mind, I'm sure she will make up for it on Mummies' morning this week.

After the party we went to see Nanny and Grandad Rennolds. We had a really good time, just chatting and playing and I even had a snooze on Nanny's bed.

I went in this round play thing again and Mummy did a short video.

At the Christmas party I was given a present and it was a new rattle. Apart from the colour, I love it.

I had nice cuddles with Nanny and Mummy tried to get a good photo of the 2 of us. She took lots but couldn't pick her favourite.

Just as we were leaving to go home, I fell asleep. Mummy thought I looked cute and took yet another picture of me.

Back at home I went to bed for an hour and then it was time for another big bath. This time though, I was all on my own and I loved it.

I didn't want any more food after my bath so I was in bed early and Mummy followed shortly after.
