Football Match

Let me just start by saying that I had 100 new visitors to the blog last week! That's crazy! I love that people are reading, it makes me want to continue with it. It's not life changing stuff on here and I generally just list out what I do each day but I love keeping the record and I very often look back over old posts, especially now I have the extra link widget thing.

The weekend was quite good fun. On Saturday we went to a local village fete. I was a complete dope though and forgot my camera!

It was very hot so we sat in the shade and ate some ice-cream before looking around.

There was lots to see and do. In the church you could have a bell ringing lesson, there was a brass band, face painting, manicures, cafe, BBQ, stalls, games and animals. The boys enjoyed it and we got home hot and tired.

The boys played in the garden and I then sent a cheeky text to Sally to see if she would mind if I popped in on Sunday for a quick cuddle of baby William and to drop off her presents. She replied saying I could go round straight away, which I did of course!

I tried to take some pictures but there wasn't as much light as I would have liked and the flash kept going off which I don't think William liked too much. I really wanted to get some soft pictures of feet and hands but we needed a lot more light for that.

Sally looked great and William is just so cute. I think he looks just like Sally. He has her cheeks and dimples. I had a quick cuddle and then he wanted to feed. Here are some of the pictures I took.

I stayed a lot longer than I thought I would but we were just chatting about her birth story etc and it was very exciting stuff!

On Sunday Lucy and her family came over to watch the football match. Lucy, the kids and I sat in the garden pretty much the whole time. I took lots of pictures and a few videos which are self explanatory so I won't bore you with too much writing.

Leo ended up with more chalk in his tummy then on the wall!

The kids played really well together and we all just chilled out.

Time went on and the match finished with us being thrashed so the boys weren't in the best of spirits. I suggested a take-away which everyone agreed was a good idea. It was still nice and warm so the kids had their dinner in the garden and then the adults did too.

I very quickly bathed the boys and put Leo to bed but Ellis was allowed back downstairs to play with Ashlee until they went home, which wasn't long.

We all had a good weekend but we were certainly tired and didn't stay up too late.
