Rainy Sunday Walk

Sunday 16th May we met up with some of my family to go for a little walk. We arrived on time but no one else did so we sat in our car waiting. Then it started to rain.

The others arrived and we got ready to go.

We crossed the road, went up a little hill, through a church yard, across some stables, past the duck pond (which had ducklings on) to a bridge.

On the other side of the bridge we had a little race although it wasn't fully captured on video but you can get the gist.

After the race we went through a little gate that takes you under the trees. We were quite protected from the rain so we were able to put the brollies away etc and just enjoy the lovely flowers.

Ellis lead the way up the steep hill and down the other side to the muddy little stream which again with Uncle Craig's help, he enjoyed immensely.

Back out from under the trees we took a gentle stroll back across the field, through the church yard and back to the pub where we met up with Nanny and Grandad Rennolds for lunch.

Lunch was hard work to say the least. Ellis was playing up a little bit but Leo was full on screaming the place down and just threw his food everywhere. He even threw Rob's food into his lap. It was tough going and Rob stuffed his lunch to then take Leo off for a walk around, where he promptly fell asleep on his shoulder.

Mum and I were messing around taking pictures and I got Rob to take a photo of us doing sad faces and happy faces. Mum doesn't like the sad face picture so you will have to make do with happy face.

We stopped off at Nanny and Grandad Rennolds house for a bit as Rob had some work to do up there. We sat in the conservatory and watched the kids play about and I eventually took them home for bath and bed time.

So far behind still! Going to take a while to catch up I think. I'm doing my best.
