Nesting

Saturday we all stayed in bed quite a lot which was nice as I was starting to feel a bit unwell.

For lunch we went to the local Sainsburys, which was different, but nice to be doing something as a family. We seemed to be there for ages.

We had a look around the store before going to a few other shops, the library and then home.

Back at home, because my eyes had become sore, Mummy and Daddy bought some eye drops. After my turn I had a go at doing Mummy's eyes. I thought it was really funny but by the time the camera came out, it was only slightly funny.

I went for another nap and then when I woke up I just played until dinner and bedtime.

Sunday was Mummy's day off. By the time I woke up from my morning nap, she was gone.

Mummy spent her day going to the pub, reading her book, watching a film at the cinema, having a McDonalds, looking around Toys R Us for a double buggy and visiting Nanny and Grandad Rennolds.

I stayed home with Daddy and was too sick to take out. We just messed around with puzzles, books and other stuff.

By about 5 o'clock I was very grizzly and wanted Mummy. Daddy phoned Mummy and she soon came home.

I had fallen asleep on Daddy's lap by the time Mummy arrived and she just spent her time staring at me and chatting to Daddy.

I woke up, had beans and toast then went for a bath and bed. Mummy raised my mattress, put some smelly stuff in my room and topped me up with 2 medicines.

Monday wasn't much better. I was still feeling rather terrible and just spent the day flopping on Mummy.

We missed Sing and Sign and Mummy afternoon.

Mummy has worked out that I like to sit in the corner and read my books. To make it a bit more cosy for me, Mummy put a big thick blanket on the floor so I have something to sit on. I love it.

My hair is wet in the photo because I put a spoonful of Weetabix in it.

Nanny Rennolds came over in the afternoon and sat chatting with Mummy while I had a nap. I did get to see her first though and had fun playing with her scarf and making her lift me up and down on the sofa. Loads of fun.

Tuesday was the same again. Not feeling well so we just stayed in all day.

I didn't eat very much all day as I have a very sore mouth. Not sure if it is because I have bitten it or if it is an ulcer. Had lots of yogurts and fruit pots.

I didn't sleep for long in the morning so Mummy put be back down at 2pm. The next thing I know, I am being woken up at 5pm! I was sound asleep.

For dinner Mummy tried to feed me a Thai green curry but I couldn't chew the chicken, which was a shame as I actually liked the taste.

Daddy did the bath routine while Mummy was messing around in the spare room and loft. Daddy keeps mentioning a nesting instinct but I'm not sure what that means. All I know is that there is a lot of stuff going up, down, here, there and everywhere.

Hope I feel better tomorrow as I have Music with Mummy.

Kamron is 2

Wednesday was Karmon's second birthday and Nanny Rennolds had organised a small get together up her house in the afternoon.

We went to Music with Mummy and then went straight to Nanny's house.

There were lots of people there and Kamron had fun opening his presents.

Of course there was a cake.

Kamron likes trying on big shoes and so Mummy filmed him messing around.

Chloe and Charley made a huge sculpture using the play blocks and they were very proud of it.

Ria didn't miss out on the fun. She was riding Princess and doing a very good job of it too.

We left in time to get home for my bath and bed routine.

Thursday morning I had a nap and then around lunchtime a plumber arrived to look at our broken shower. He couldn't fix it so Mummy and Daddy will have to contine to have baths for a while.

In the afternoon, Tilly, Ethan, Nic and Ella popped over for a visit.

I had fun playing with Ethan, although I think he would have rather played on his own.

Ella sat and watched us running around getting frustrated that she couldn't do it too. It wont be long before she will though.

They stayed for a nice long time and when they had to go, Ethan didn't want to leave. He was enjoying all the toys. I hope they come again soon.

Daddy did bathtime as Mummy was shattered.

Friday morning we went swimming. I didn't sleep all morning so was feeling a little bit tired when we arrived.

Jaimie and Ria were there and so were Mark and Faith.

The pool was nice and warm and I had fun jumping in and splashing.

Mummy decided to put my armbands on this week. I didn't like it and cried for quite a while. Everyone tried to distract me but it wasn't until about 15 minutes later that I finally forgot about them.

As we were getting into the car to go home, Nanny and Auntie Katie arrived. We said a quick hello before going home for lunch.

After lunch, we were straight back into the car and off to where Mummy goes to her yoga class. I used to go there with her when I was a baby but when I started to crawl, she had to go on her own.

Obviously, after not having any sleep all morning, I quickly started to inspect the insides of my eye-lids.

I was woken up when we arrived and in the house were 3 newborn babies and me. I was the oldest by a long way and it felt rather strange for Mummy.

We had drinks and snacks and then a lady called Helen came in to do a demonstration of our Sing and Sign lesson.

I had a really good time and enjoyed playing with the huge exercise balls and toys.

We only stayed for an hour as we had to rush back towards our house to go to my Twinkling Stars class.

We arrived on time and I didn't go back to sleep so by this time, I was really, really tired.

Twinkling Stars was lots of fun and Iestyn, Anna and I just ran around playing.

We went to Sainsburys after, and I nearly fell asleep in the trolley. I banged my head though and that soon woke me up.

Mummy went as fast as she could and it wasn't long before we were home having dinner.

We had pizza as Mummy wanted to do something quick.

Bath and bed routine started 30 minutes early as I was so tired and I think Mummy was too. She is growing another human being after all.

Pregnant!

It has been such a long time since I last posted an entry but we have been quite busy and I wanted to wait until after Tuesday to tell you our happy news. Mummy is going to let me have a little brother or sister! How exciting is that.

Mummy and Daddy went for the 12 week scan yesterday and I was looked after by Sharon, Sophie, Sally and Anna. I had loads of fun and when Mummy and Daddy came home, they showed us some pictures of the baby. I can't wait!

Mummy and Daddy said that Dollop, (baby's current name) gave them a wave on the screen and they all laughed and thought it was really funny. I wish I could have been there too.

Here are the pictures including the one with the little wave. If you click on them, they should open up a bit bigger.

Well, back to my week.

On Wednesday we went to our Music with Mummy class. Nanny came with us again and she managed to get a bit of video of me walking around doing the hello song.

We went for a tea and snack after in Sainsburys with Naomi and Iestyn and then we went home.

Thursday it rained all day so we just stayed in and played and in the evening, Mummy went to Charlotte's house to meet up with all the other Mummies for a Chinese take-away. They all had a great time.

Friday we went swimming in the morning, although we were running a bit late, we still managed to meet up with Mark and Faith. We had lots of fun and stayed in the water for ages and ages.

Nanny and Auntie Katie arrived just after we had got out of the pool. We had a quick chat and then it was home for dinner.

After a quick nap in the afternoon we went to Twinkling Stars and had lots of fun messing around with different pieces of apparatus and toys. I went through the tunnel again, all on my own and I didn't cry. It's actually quite easy now.

Friday night, Mummy was out again at a line dance and she had a brilliant time. She only has one more dance to go before Christmas is here.

Saturday we went out to the shops to do some Christmas shopping and we popped in to see Auntie Lucy, Craig, Shauna and Ashlee. I played with all their toys and had lots of fun.

When we left I was very tired and Mummy did her best to keep me awake all the way home. It worked.

Sunday we went to Nanny and Grandad George's house for a roast dinner. But before we arrived, Daddy needed to pop into Ikea for a couple of things. Mummy and I waited patiently in the car singing Disney songs and listening to a couple arguing about how to get a cupboard in the back of their car.

It wasn't long before we were on our way again.

Thankfully Grandad George was home from hospital and feeling better so I could play with everyone.

I was a good boy and sat up to the table eating my dinner. I loved it, especially the pear trifle for dessert.

After we had all filled our tummies we played a game that we have recently found. Someone draws a picture and I guess what it is. I can do signs and sounds to communicate what I think it is. Mummy drew a sheep which I guessed, Daddy did a house and then Nanny drew a wolf. I wasn't able to get it from the picture and neither could Mummy and Daddy. I wonder why?

Again we left quite late and Mummy had to sing to me and jiggle me about to keep me awake all the way home. It worked and after a quick bath, I was in bed.

Monday morning we had sing and sign class and I was a really good boy. The teacher said I was doing really well and that I needed to move up to the stage 2 course now.

In the afternoon, Charlotte and Faith came over for tea and snacks and we had loads of fun playing and having cuddles.

Mummy popped out for a bit and Charlotte and Faith looked after me. Well I like to think I looked after them seeing as I was the man of the house.

Then we are back to Tuesday. In the morning Auntie Lucy came over with Ashlee and had fun chatting away and playing and then we had lunch before Sharon and Sophie came over to look after me.

In the evening Nanny and Grandad Rennolds came over for dinner with Mummy and Daddy.

First though I got to play with them loads. We played with the ball, a trumpet (toilet roll) and my puzzle.

Nanny helped to do bath time before she gave me my bottle and I was put to bed.

What an exciting week! Mummy is doing really well and feeling fine. Her belly is sometimes rather big and I point at it and say baby already, which she thinks is rather cute.

15 Months!

Friday morning we went swimming but this week we were on our own. Faith and Mark didn't make it and Nanny and Auntie Katie don't arrive until we are out of the pool and dressed. It's a shame really as I really enjoyed swimming with my cousins. Hopefully we can change the day soon and we can all go together again.

We went home for lunch and then I had a nap before we went to Twinkling Stars. There was loads of people there and we had loads of fun as always. I even went through the tunnel on my own without having to be forced, which Mummy was very happy about.

In the evening, Uncle Dave came over with some fireworks, which were amazing. I watched from inside the back door and I loved it! I hope we can have some more soon.

WARNING: FLASHING LIGHTS

On Saturday, Mummy had a lie in and Daddy gave me my breakfast. It wasn't long before we were all back in bed having a snooze.

Once we had had lunch, we all went out to look at some cars and then we popped in to see Nanny and Grandad George. I had watching the fish, running up and down and just generally trying to cause havoc. Uncle Dave did his very best to stop me though.

We went home for some dinner and then shortly after it was bath and bed routine.

Sunday morning, Daddy did the early shift again. Mummy was really pleased about that as she hasn't been feeling 100% recently and needed the rest.

I went back to bed at 10am for nearly 2 hours which allowed Daddy a bit more sleep too.

Just after lunch we had some visitors arrive. Leighton, Jaidan, Sabriel and Jasper came to see us.

I had fun playing with Sabriel and Mummy had cuddles with Jasper until he started to cry and she passed him back to his Mummy. I didn't like the crying very much and so I put my fingers in my ears to block out the noise.

We then decided to go out for a walk. It was really cold, so I was wrapped up nice and warm in my cosi toes and off we went. We seemed to be walking for ages, but after a quick stop in the shops we were home again.

Our visitors left soon after we got home and just messed around until it was time to have our dinner.

Monday morning again! The weeks just fly by.

Early in the morning Daddy received a call from Uncle Dave to say that he was taking Grandad George into the hospital again as he wasn't feeling very well. We are very sad that Grandad isn't well again and hope that he makes a very quick recovery and gets home soon. We love you Grandad.

Sing and Sign had started again so I didn't get much of a nap before I was in the buggy, walking in the rain, down to the village hall. We arrived on time and I played with some toys before we started.

I was really excited this week and stood at the front of the class doing all the signs that the teacher was doing. Mummy is going to try and video me doing the signs soon so that you can get an idea of what it is I am doing.

The list of signs that I can sort of do is growing:

Hot
Cuddle
Teddy
Stop
No
Swings
Park
Wash
Cheeky
Aeroplane
Motorbike
Car
Eat
Drink
More

Bump Head
Hat
Biscuit
Daddy
Bird
Duck
Parrot
Open
Shut
Lion
Bee
Change Nappy

What
Where

Mummy thinks that is it.

After lunch Mummy and I had a long sleep and then we arrived slightly late for Mummy afternoon. We had a really good time at Sharon and Sophie's house. Lots of tea, cakes, biscuits, water and bread sticks were consumed.

We also ended up leaving late as everyone was having such a nice relaxing time.

In the evening, Daddy went to visit Grandad George, so Mummy and I had dinner together and then we did the bath and bed routine.

Mummy went out to her yoga class when Daddy got home.

Tuesday morning, Mummy suddenly remembered that she hadn't taken my 15 month pictures. It is slightly late but at least they are done.

Morning nap was followed by lunch and then we went up to Nanny Rennolds' house.

I had a quick play before we went to the local shop to do some food shopping. We stopped in the cafe for a quick drink and snack before we finished the shopping and went home.

Daddy was visiting again so Mummy and I did the same as the night before.

After I was in bed, Mummy rushed around trying to clear the house up before Daddy got home and they had a quick chat before Mummy went out to see her friends for a drink.

She met up with...

... Auntie Katie

Auntie Lucy

Jaimie

and Angela

Mummy was back quite late and after a cup of tea, had a shower and went to bed.

Cold Park

Wednesday morning I was just sat reading my books and doing my own thing when I noticed that Mummy was videoing me. I think she just wanted to get some footage of what I do in the mornings before getting dressed.

Mummy did loads of ironing while I went back to bed for a nap.

When I woke up, we had lunch and then just played around until it was time to go to our first Music with Mummy group.

Nanny arrived on time, and we all walked down together. We bumped into Sally and Anna on the way so we had a quick chat with them.

Debs was there in her usual gear of stripy trousers and a brightly coloured t-shirt. She always has a massive smile on her face too.

We sat around like we normally do and Nanny was given a chair to sit on. We then did a hello song. It is very different to the Jolly Babies song so it might take us a while to learn it. Then Debs holds your hand and walks you around the group shaking hands with everyone. We didn't do it this week but maybe when we are feeling a bit more confident.

We had an amazing time. Debs did drawings and we sang songs with different actions, walked around the room, played instruments and just generally had fun. I can't wait to go next week. I think Anna and Iestyn enjoyed it too.

We went to Sainsburys after to pick up a few bits and then we met Iestyn and Naomi in the cafe for a cup of tea and a bit of cake. Well, Mummy had a cream tea, Nanny a coffee and I had some crisp things.

We stayed there for quite a while just having a good chat before walking home in the dark.

Nanny left straight away and Mummy put the dinner on as Uncle Dave was coming over too.

We all sat together and had dinner and then Mummy and Daddy played with some sparklers in the garden. It was brilliant. We also listened to some big bangs and watched lots of lights in the sky. I loved it.

Daddy and Uncle Dave did the bath and bed routine and Mummy got ready to go to her line dancing class.

Thursday morning, Mummy and I went back to bed and then we both had lunch before going up to Nanny Rennolds' house.

We all managed to fit in Nanny's car and we made our way to the local park.

It was freezing outside so we all wrapped up warm. Chloe kept warm by running around and climbing trees.

Fun was had by everyone and we especially enjoyed the park.

After a quick walk we all went back to Nanny's house for some snacks and a drink.

We played about for a bit until it was time to go home for some dinner.

I fell asleep straight away and Mummy struggled to wake me up when we got home.

I had my dinner, messed around for a bit and then we did bath and bed.

Sparkler

Mummy was feeling much better on Sunday which was really good for me as we end up having loads more fun and spent the morning messing around.

I don't think Daddy approved!

In the afternoon Mummy and I went out in the car. We stopped off at Nanny and Grandad Rennolds' house and had fun playing with bricks, books and plastic tubs. We then went up to the field to have a look around and then drove all the way back home, via ASDA.

I fell asleep in the car so Mummy was unable to go into the shops so went straight home instead. I was put into bed but woke up straight away. I think Mummy was a bit annoyed by this.

For dinner we all sat at the table eating a curry. It was yummy and I am doing really well with eating all on my own now. We wont bore you with yet another video.

There wasn't any Sing and Sign on Monday morning so we just did a bit more messing around before I was put in the buggy and we walked to Sally and Anna's house for Mummy afternoon.

We arrived first and I set about pulling all the toys out of the box and making a complete mess. Anna didn't mind, she helped.

We stayed for a really long time and I had so much fun, I didn't really want to go home.

Our walk home was in the dark, which wasn't very nice. Mummy marched quite quickly all the way. I didn't mind, I was all snuggled in my buggy.

Daddy was home from work on Tuesday so we all went swimming.

When we arrived, there was a queue out of the door but Mummy was determined to stick it out. We arrived at the till and were told that we were going to be the last ones to be let in. Phew! At least Mummy could keep her blood pressure down.

When we got in the pool my lips were already slightly purple, by about 5 minutes in, they were very purple! Mummy and Daddy thought it was best we didn't stay in too long. We managed to hold out for about 30 minutes. The pool was too crowded anyway.

We went to the local shopping centre for lunch. Mummy and Daddy had their favourite, McDonalds and I had a baked potato with baked beans. Mummy had bought all my bowls, spoons, forks, sticky plate and drink with her so I was able to sit up to the table and eat with them.

We arrived home and I was put into bed for a little nap, which I needed as I have a bit of a cold at the moment.

While I was asleep, Sophie and Anna arrived for another Mummy afternoon.

Sophie's Mummy went to get her hair cut so Mummy and Sally looked after her. She seemed quite happy and didn't cry once.

Once I was awake, the fun really began. Love was in the air!

At dinner time, Mummy went out into the garden and lit this stick that made pretty lights. I was told that it was a sparkler. Mummy seemed to really enjoy herself and I must admit that I didn't mind it either.

The video is about 2 minutes long and I doubt you can see anything, but Mummy thinks the last bit is really funny. I'm sure you wont agree, but we can humour her.

Daddy did the bath and bed routine and Mummy had a shower, did my teeth and then went to do some blogging.

We have our first Music with Mummy group tomorrow and I think Mummy is more nervous than me!

Pyjamas

Wednesday morning we had to get up early and take the car to the garage. It didn't take us too long to get there and while we were waiting for our courtesy car to be ready, I was allowed to wander around the show room, waving and clapping at everyone. It was all very exciting.

The courtesy car was small obviously and Mummy had to struggle with the car seat and buggy. She was very hot and tired by the time we were on our way.

Mummy took me to her dentist again. She didn't have an appointment but Nanny Rennolds did and I think she took me along just so I can get used to it there. I didn't mind it at all and I was even given a Winnie the Pooh sticker.

We popped to the local Tesco after for a few things and a sit down in the cafe. Mummy had a fried breakfast and I had some Mini Cheddars, apple and grapes.

After we had finished shopping we went up to Nanny's house so that I could finish having my lunch. I had sandwiches and yogurt.

We went home shortly after and I was put straight into bed.

When I woke up I had time for a quick snack before going to pick up our car.

Mummy wasn't feeling well and wanted Daddy to do bath time but he and Uncle Dave were working on the car, so she had to do it on her own. We still had fun though.

Mummy was feeling even more ill on Thursday and so we stayed in all day long just chilling in the living room. I was a really good boy and allowed Mummy to rest.

Nanny did pop over for an hour though which was really nice.

In the evening I was allowed to feed myself my dinner. Mummy seems to really like that I can do it.

Daddy was out so Mummy had to do the bath and bed routine again. She put me in these lovely new pyjamas that Nanny George had bought for me a while ago.

Mummy still wasn't well on Friday so we stayed in all day again.

Late afternoon, Sally and Anna popped in to say hello. It was really nice to see someone and I think it made Mummy feel a bit better too.

Anna and I played loads and the Mummies sat chatting on the sofa.

By the way, our door bell is now working so hopefully we wont miss anyone in the future.

After dinner, Daddy looked after Mummy and did the bath and bed routine so that she could rest on the sofa.

Saturday morning, Mummy stayed in bed and Daddy gave me my breakfast.

I was put down for a nap at 9am but didn't go to sleep until just gone 10am. I don't mind being in my bed. I play with my toys, chat, sing and bang the wall.

I woke up just gone 12am and I found out that Daddy had made Mummy pancakes in bed. She loved it.

Daddy made me my lunch. It was cheese on toast with pickle, onion and Worcester sauce. I spat the onions out but other than that, it was delicious.

Shortly after, Daddy and I went out in the car to do some food shopping and to have a look around B & Q, as you do. We had lots of fun and it was nice just being the two of us for a change.

When we got home, I think Mummy had missed us lots. She wouldn't put me down and kept giving me lots of kisses.

We messed around and read books before Mummy gave me my dinner.

Then it was more play time until bath time.

Mummy took me up and washed me, then Daddy took over and Mummy went for a shower to wash her hair. I think she was trying to perk herself up.

I went to bed with no fuss, of course.
