9 Months

I am now 9 months old! Here are the monthly pictures.















Sunday morning was quite boring. Daddy was out still fixing his car and Mummy and I just sat in.

Daddy came home after lunch and almost immediately, Mummy gave me a kiss and went out with Auntie Lucy.

I had my bottle and then Daddy took me in the car to drop Uncle Dave home. I fell asleep on the way home and Daddy had to wake me up to give me my dinner.

Mummy had gone out for a hen night in the centre of town. She had a really good time and here are some pictures of the night out.































The morning after, Mummy was feeling very tired but we had to get up and go to my friend Ashlee's birthday party. It was held in a Wacky Warehouse, which is basically a huge climbing frame with ball pools and slides. I had never been to one before so there was a lot to take in.







For the party Mummy had bought me a new shirt which you can see, I look very cute in.



I had a long cuddle with a lady called Liz. She is really nice and looked after me for ages.



Nanny helped me to be more confident with the balls and playing with the other children. I did end up having lots of fun, and so did Granddad.





Recently Mummy noticed that there was a large chip in her diamond engagement ring so we had to leave the party to go back to the shop where Daddy bought it.

All they said at the shop was that they would send it off to get an estimate of how much it will cost to fix it. Mummy wasn't very pleased about it all but she was happy that it was insured at least.

Next stop was the bike shop. Mummy tried one out and a few helmets and picked the ones that she wanted. Daddy then said he would order them online when we got home

I fell asleep in the car on the way back and was then very hyperactive all evening.

Mummy put me to bed in just a vest as it was so hot in my room. I wasn't interested in sleeping though anyway. I played around for about an hour and Mummy had to come in twice to try and sort me out. I eventually went off.

Toys

Friday is always a busy day. We went swimming in the morning which was really good as the pool was pretty empty and nice and warm. Nanny and Auntie Katie didn't come this week and so it was just me, Faith, Mummy and Mark.

I did some new things too. Mummy put me out on the side of the pool, then counted to three and helped me to jump back in and make a big splash. It was really good fun but cold when you are out of the pool.

In the afternoon we went to Twinkling Stars which is always good fun. The whole gang was there and we all had a great time messing around with all the different toys.

At home Daddy had a quick snooze on the sofa and Mummy spent her time getting ready to go out with the other Mummies for a meal.

I was quickly put to bed and Mummy went out.

Mummy had a really good time and came home with a filled up tummy.

Saturday morning Mummy cooked me a risotto. It looked very lumpy for me but it actually worked really well.

The postman delivered a new toy for Mummy and Daddy. Actually it is a trailer for me to go behind them when we go out for bike rides. Mummy doesn't have a bike yet but we are going out to look for one on Monday.

Daddy had been to work in the morning and then he was going straight to Nanny and Granddad Georges' house to work on his broken car. I think he looked rather smart in Uncle Dave's overalls.

Granddad is doing much better and spent his time pottering, not potting, in the green house.

I on the other hand, was playing inside with some new toys that Nanny had in the loft.

Back at home I played with a toy that my Mummy's Nanny had bought for my Cousin Charley. Confused?

I am still not crawling around yet but I seem to manage okay buy just rolling everywhere. I can go at quite a pace. I have, however, started to lift my bum up in the air to get up onto my knees. I shouldn't think it will be too long now.

Cheesy Egg

I was up nice and early again and had a quick feed before going downstairs to play on my mat.

I had a huge breakfast which was really yummy.



After my morning nap we got in the car and went to the local shops to exchange a gift I had received and also to grab some other things that I don't think Mummy should have been buying.

We ran back to the car in the rain and got home just in time for lunch.

Today I had cheesy scrambled egg and toast. As you can see, it is a very messy business.





We had some playtime before it was time for my afternoon nap.

Mummy was supposed to cook me a risotto while I was asleep but she forgot to get some tomatoes, so as soon as I woke up, I had my milk and then I was put in the car to go to Sainsburys. Boring or what!

Mummy carried me in the shop and really struggled to pick everything up without me trying to eat it. She managed it though and about 10 minutes after leaving, we were home again.

I had a proper dinner and soon after I had finished, Daddy arrived home.

He had his dinner and then sat and read books with me until it was time for my bath.

Daddy gave me my bath while Mummy typed up the blog and then she got changed into her joggers and left for her new evening yoga class. I think she was a bit nervous to be going without me but I am sure she will be fine.

Reminiscing

I was up nice and early at 6:30 and after my milk feed, Mummy and I messed around for a bit before going downstairs and playing there too.

Mummy and I have so much fun. I get really sad when she puts me down or leaves the room at the moment. I also give her loads of nice cuddles. I think she is making the most of it as she has said she doesn't think it will last.

After my morning nap we went over to see Nic who is due to pop in 4 weeks. Mummy was jealous of her bump and they spent most of the time chatting about babies and how great we are etc etc - stuff I already know.

We had a look at the nursery and I had my lunch sat on the table in a Bumbo. I really enjoyed that as I got to have a good look around. Nic fed me my desert which made a nice change from Mummy doing it.

I also got to play with Jasper, their dog. He was really good fun and I touched his nose loads of times. I'm not sure if he liked it or not but I certainly did.

Of course I had cuddles too but Nic is lacking in the lap department at the moment.





Not long after lunch it was time for my afternoon nap so we had to go home. Mummy was talking really loud to me all the way home.

I was just falling asleep when we pulled into the drive. I made it to my bed though and was soon fast asleep in comfort.

Mummy was nostalgic all day after reminiscing with Nic about the early days of having a baby and stuff. Here are some old pictures, for old times sake.





















I had a really long nap and woke up at 3:15pm, had my milk and then played in my door bouncer until Daddy came home. He came early which was really good.

We all sat around the table and had dinner together and then Daddy was really tired so he went to sleep on the sofa while Mummy typed up the blog and entertained me.

It was then time for bath and bed and Mummy went out to line dancing.

Nasty Nashers

Still not really feeling like my old self. These horrible teeth are making me very grumpy. Mummy is doing her best to cheer me up but at 3:45am I woke up screaming.

I went back to sleep on my own and we got up at 6:30am.

The morning seemed to drag but I was soon back in bed for a nap before going to Jolly Babies.

I didn't really enjoy myself as much as I usually do and back at home I had my lunch before going back to bed.

Mummy had to wake me up to go around Sharon and Sophie's house for Mummies afternoon.

We arrived a little later than normal and it took me a couple of minutes to wake up. Once I had, I was feeling a bit better so had a really good time playing with all of Sophie's toys.

Iestyn was really funny. He was laughing in Mummy's face and then wiping all his snot on her. They were both having a good laugh about it.

Faith was unwell so she didn't make it this week. We all send our love and hope that she feels better soon.



We didn't leave for ages and when we did, it was raining. Mummy put my hood up and we got in the car very quickly.

At home my happy mood continued and I happily played on my mat until dinner was ready. I sat at the table with Mummy to eat my food, which I love doing.

Daddy came home and gave me my bath and then I had some milk before going to bed.

For some reason I couldn't settle, so I played with my teddies for ages. Mummy came in about an hour after I had gone to bed and moved me back into my proper position for the night, or so she hopes.

Grumps

Sing and sign was good this week although I wasn't as interested as last week. I was feeling very hot and tired and I tried very hard to get onto Mummy's lap the whole time.

Mummy thinks that I have 2 teeth pushing on the gums on the top, and one starting to poke through on the bottom. That would explain the red cheeks and the fact that I was so grumpy.

Instead of going for a cuppa with Charlotte and Faith, Mummy decided to take me home so that I could have some water, a snack and some Calpol. It seemed to do the trick for a while but after my lunch I was a bit grizzly so Mummy put me to bed.

I went to sleep at 12:30 and I hadn't woken by 2:45 so Mummy decided to come and wake me up. I was not happy about that at all, and I made it known.

I cheered up when I had milk and afterwards we got straight in the car and went to Sainsburys to do a rather big food shop. We were only supposed to be picking up a few items but we had a whole trolley full.

We bumped into Sally and Anna and had a quick chat before going home.

Mummy put all the shopping away and I played with my toys but I still wasn't in the best of spirits. Mummy tried to play with me but after about 10 minutes she went rather quiet. I think she almost fell asleep on the floor next to me.

Dinner was good fun as Mummy was messing around making crazy noises and flopping her hair all over the place. I find that so funny.

Daddy came home and I sat up to the table with them while they had their dinner.

Daddy tried to read to me for a bit but I was starting to get grumpy again.

I was put in the bath early and was in bed by 6:50 which I think is my earliest bed time yet. I was quite restless for a while but was asleep by the time Mummy was writing this in bed at 8:30pm.
