Cuddles

It was a reasonably relaxing day today. We were up horrendously early but Ellis would have had another dry night if I had got up with him at 5:30am! Not going to happen.

We had fun in the morning dressing up and Ellis thought he looked cool.

Then both the boys were playing on Leo's mat (photo opportunity).

The boys slept at the same time which gave me a nice break. I sorted out the washing, tidied up the mess from the morning and then relaxed with a cuppa on the computer. Very nice.

In the afternoon I had a doctors appointment so Mum and Chloe came over to take care of Ellis for me, Leo came with me.

I was gone for a while but I think Mum had fun. The cousins did colouring, reading, playing with the toys and drank lots of water.

Ellis didn't have any accidents today and really seems to understand what he has to do. He does still spend a lot of time sat on the toilet saying he needs a poo but never does it. He has also fallen off the toilet, head first, 3 times now. Bless him.

When I got home, Mum made me a cuppa and then everyone had cuddles before Mum and Chloe had to go home.

Ellis and I had a chilled out afternoon too. We sat reading, playing trains and doing puzzles. It was really nice.

Leo is really getting about now which is a very strange thing to say about a 3 month old. He rolls on to his side and eventually twists about. He spends his day going around and around on his mat. This afternoon he basically rolled from his back to his front. He did it a few times but I had to help him over the pivot point. He is almost there though which is incredible. He is also getting a hang of the door swing already too and is very strong in it. He stands, bounces and pushes himself around which is demonstrated here.

I decided to have a chilled out bath time too. I put Ellis in the bath, cleaned him and then sat feeding Leo while Ellis played. Then I put Leo to bed and got Ellis out. I slowly read to him and Rob arrived home in time to read to him too which was lush.

Leo woke for more food around 8pm and then settled himself back to sleep which was brilliant.

Rob and I spent the evening on our computers doing various things.
