The Whole Gang

Unluckily for Mummy I woke up at 6am! She came to get me at about 6:30am and we went downstairs to play for a bit.

Daddy got up early too and we were all able to sit at the table and have breakfast together. I fed myself and I think I am improving slowly.

Then I played with my strap for about half an hour before I went to bed for my nap.

After lunch we went over to Sharon and Sophie's house for Mummy afternoon. As it is half term, Sarah, Toby, Naomi and Iestyn were able to make it and also because we held it on a Monday, Charlotte and Faith were there too.

It was really good to see the whole gang back together and obviously we had lots of fun trying to attempt a group photo.

Mummy and I really enjoyed ourselves and we can't wait until Christmas which is when we will all be together again. There will be presents at the next meeting so it will be even better!

Mummy likes this picture as both Sally and Anna have their eyes closed.

We didn't get home until quite late and Daddy was already home from work. We all sat and had dinner together and then Mummy did the bath and bed routine.

I woke up at the normal time of about 7:20am and we all sat and had breakfast together again. It was really nice and I know Mummy loves it.

I fed myself again and I did much better this time.

Mummy woke up with the start of a horrible cold and didn't feel very well.

Usually I am put down for a nap at around 9am but this time I was bundled into the car, given my rabbit and blanket and we then travelled for ages to get to this massive shop.

We met Nanny and Grandad Rennolds in the car park and spent the next couple of hours filling up our trolleys. Mummy and Nanny seemed to have lots of fun.

We stopped for lunch in the canteen and I ate loads of cottage pie while Mummy had a tuna jacket potato.

We then went home and I fell asleep within 2 minutes of being in the car. I was put straight into my bed.

When I woke up I was given a couple of snacks and we then went back in the car to see Auntie Lucy, Shauna and Ashlee, who were at their Nanny's house.

Their Nanny lives just by my Nanny so we parked up and walked down to see them.

We had a lovely time, playing and reading books and after we went to have dinner with Nanny Rennolds.

I sat up nice to the table and ate spaghetti carbonara and garlic bread with fruit for dessert. It was all yummy.

As we were leaving Grandad arrived home and so I was able to give him a kiss and cuddle before we went home for bath and bed.

Daddy gave me my milk while chatting to Mummy about the day we had just had.

Daddy went out in the evening to play some pool with his friends and Mummy spent her time doing some blogging.

Photos Removed

Mummy has removed some of the photo slideshows as they slow the website down. If you click on either of the 2 remaining slideshows, it will take you to a library of all the photos Mummy has ever taken. There are literally thousands for you to view if you want.

Sunday Lunch

On Saturday Daddy took me out for a walk to the shops and we stopped off in the park too. We had loads of fun but by the time I got home, my hands were like blocks of ice! T

hat was pretty much it for Saturday. Mummy went out again to a charity line dance and had to dress up in pink. She looked really pretty.

Sunday morning, Daddy had to do the early shift and Mummy stayed in bed. She was very tired.

I tried to feed myself again but I made a huge amount of mess so Daddy just ended up feeding me.

At lunchtime, Mummy and I got in the car and then Nanny and Grandad George arrived and got in the car with us. We then went to a local restaurant for a Sunday lunch.

At the restaurant we met up with Nanny and Grandad Rennolds which was yet another surprise for me.

Everyone seemed to have a really good time and I had fun being entertained.

Wayne, Nic and Ella were there with their family too and they came to see us and we popped to see them.

Also there at the same time was Great Uncle Roger and Great Auntie B. We said a quick hello to them but then they had to leave to watch the football match.

On our way home we stopped in Sainsburys and bought some cakes and we ate them with a nice cup of tea. Well I say we but I was actually put in bed as soon as we got back so I didn't see what happened.

The Grandparents stayed for a nice long time and I was able to see them quickly after my nap before they all went home.

Daddy had to drop off Nanny and Grandad George and I went with them. It was very strange waving goodbye to Mummy out of the car window. I have never had to do that before and I don't think Mummy liked it much either.

When we got home, Mummy was in bed so Daddy gave me cheese and pickle on toast. It was really yummy and I ate it all up really fast. I then had 2 yogurts! I must have been having a growing day as I was just so hungry.

Mummy did the bath and bed routine and I finished off all my milk too.

I didn't go to sleep for ages and I kept waking up. I think it had to do with the fact that the clocks went back. I think Mummy is hoping I don't wake her up at 6am.

Weetabix

Saturday was really chilly but we still managed to get Daddy out of the house and down to the park. We fed the ducks and I was allowed to walk around the park on my own! I also tried to climb up the slide again, but it still didn't work.

Sunday we went to Ria's Christening. I was rather well behaved I thought and sat nicely reading books until it was time to go to the after party and have some grub.

I had tons of fun playing with toys and all the other children. Mummy, Daddy, Nanny or Grandad followed me around to make sure I was okay.

For some reason, Mummy didn't take any pictures or videos of the day! Very unlike her. I think she was just tired and hot.

After the party, Daddy needed to do some work on Grandad's computers so we went up to their house for a bit.

I really needed a nap but wouldn't go in the travel cot, so Grandad let me use his lap instead.

We went home late and I was actually in the car, while it was dark! That seems like a strange thing to say but I am always in the bath at 6:30pm so I am inside when it goes dark. Mummy and Daddy thought I would go to sleep on the way back but I was too busy watching the lights to sleep.

Monday morning we went to sing and sign and then not long after we returned home, we received some visitors.

Deborah, Evan and baby Thomas came to see us which was really nice. I had loads of fun following Evan around and playing with all my toys.

Thomas did his first giggle at our house and we managed to capture some of them on video.

We all had lunch together and then when I was in bed, they went home.

Tuesday morning was my last Jolly Babies group as I will be moving up to the Music with Mummy class that starts in a couple of weeks time. We are also going to be going on a Wednesday now and not a Tuesday.

For the last class of every half term, Debs blows some bubbles at us. It is really good fun and I think Ella liked it too.

We went home for lunch and then in the afternoon Sally and Anna came over for Mummy afternoon.

Wednesday morning, Mummy decided to take some pictures of me. Here are a few of her favourites.

Mummy then spent her time in the kitchen cooking food for me and just generally pottering around the house.

In the afternoon we went up to see Nanny Rennolds who wasn't feeling very well.

I pulled things out of the kitchen cupboards and generally caused havoc that Mummy had to go around clearing up. It was good fun though.

Daddy did the bath and bed routine as Mummy goes out early to her line dancing lessons.

Thursday was a really boring day. We stayed in all day and I slept loads so that Mummy could have a rest. That was about it.

Friday morning Mummy allowed me to feed myself. I had great fun trying to fit some Weetabix in my mouth, using hands and spoons. There was a huge amount of mess but Mummy didn't seem to mind. In fact she did a lot of praising me so perhaps I need to make more mess, more often!

Mummy stayed in the kitchen to clean up and I was put into the living room. I am very clingy to Mummy at the moment and I make this know by standing at the gate screaming at her until she comes to join me. I think I am getting on her nerves but it does work.

We didn't make it to swimming as we had to wait in for a delivery. It arrived just after 11am.

Luckily Charlotte and Faith popped in to keep us company and I had a lovely time playing with Faith's new pink boots.

After lunch, I went back to bed at 1pm as I hadn't had a morning nap. Mummy put me down early so that I could get as much sleep as possible before we had to leave for Twinkling Stars.

While I was sleeping, Mummy sat eating fairy cakes and blogging.

Twinkling Stars was really, really good. They used the parachute again and I wasn't scared this time. We all laid on the floor and it was pulled over us which was excellent. We also used this huge beach ball to roll around on top of it and it was so funny.

I went through the tunnel twice! Once because I was forced to and once on my own. Mummy was so proud of me.

The rest of the time was spent messing around with my friends.

I fed myself my dinner and then Mummy and Daddy bathed me.

Mummy was out again! She has been out Wednesday night, Thursday night and now Friday night. Think I heard that she is out again tomorrow night. I don't think Daddy minds too much as he gets to use the PC and gets some peace and quiet.

First Shoes

Nic, Ella, Sharon and Sophie were all missing from Jolly Babies on Tuesday. Nanny arrived again which was great but I wasn't feeling 100% and spent my time fidgeting.

We had lunch then walked around to Sally and Anna' s house for Mummy afternoon. We had a lovely time and I really enjoyed reading Anna's books.

Daddy was at home being ill on the sofa.

Wednesday Daddy was still ill and he stayed in bed while we went to pick up Nanny George to go and buy me my first pair of shoes.

We arrived in town and walked to the Clarks store, which was shut! We had lunch in McDonalds, had a quick walk around a new shopping centre, where Nanny bought me a quacking duck and a Christmas book before we went back to the car.

We went to some shops that are local to Nanny's house but they didn't do the shoes that I needed either, so we decided to give up.

We stopped in Nanny's house and had a cup of tea and I watched the fish and just generally walked around until it was time to go home.

I fell asleep in the car but woke up when we arrived home.

Thursday morning we dropped a birthday card off at Sharon's house and then went to get my hair cut but the shop was shut! Just our luck.

We went to a local shoe shop to get me some shoes but the experience wasn't very good so Mummy decided to leave.

We then went to a Clarks store, just down the road. We had such a better time there.

While we were waiting to be served, I played with some toys.

A lady, called Suzanne, then came up to us and Mummy explained that we had had a rubbish experience in the last shop and was hoping for a better one here. The lady was more than happy to help and after she measured my feet, she brought out loads of boxes with different shoes in.

The first shop measured my feet at 3 1/2 G. This proper shop measured them at 4 1/2 G/H.

The first pair we tried on were wicked. I could walk in them well and Mummy really liked them.

I had a photo taken of me in my new shoes by the lady in the shop and Mummy has put it up in the living room at home.

Pictures of my shoes. Thank you Nanny George, I love them.

Mummy was really excited after we left the store and was jumping up and down saying yippeee!

We went up to see Nanny Rennolds but she was out so we walked up to the local shops with Auntie Katie and Kamron to get my hair cut.

The barber took ages and ages to cut my hair and I was really upset the whole time. I had tears and a runny nose and I wasn't breathing properly. Mummy tried her best to keep me occupied but it just didn't work.

Mummy didn't like the hair cut so I don't think we will be going there again.

When we got back to Nanny's I got to use my shoes outside for the first time.

I had cuddles with Nanny before going back in the house for dinner.

Mummy was on the computer for a while doing things for Nanny and so I was entertained by Grandad and Nanny. I had really good fun, reading books, playing with blocks and walking up and down.

We went home in time for my bath and bed routine.

Friday morning we went swimming which I really enjoyed. It was just me and Faith this week as Nanny, Auntie Katie, Chloe and Kamron can't make it until much later.

As we were leaving, they all showed up so I got to have a quick kiss before going home.

I had my lunch and then I was put in the buggy and we walked to a local restaurant where we met up with Nanny and Auntie Katie.

It was a really nice surprise and I sat by Nanny who helped me to do my first ever drawing.

I was really tired by the time we had to leave. I didn't manage to get a nap before we arrived at Twinkling Stars.

This week Naomi and Iestyn were there and so was Anna's Dad, Nick. I had loads of fun walking around and playing with all the different toys.

On the way home, I fell asleep and Mummy put me into bed straight away.

I woke up for dinner and then played for a bit before bath and bed routine.

I was given loads of medicine though as I had a high temperature due to my MMR jab we think. Hopefully I will be better tomorrow as it would be good to have a nice weekend with Daddy.

Same old, same old

Sorry for the delay in postings but Mummy hasn't been feeling 100% recently so hasn't been able to do any blogging.

A quick catch up over the last week.

Monday we had sing and sign with a different teacher who was really good. I really liked her and spent a lot of time sat on her lap.

Tuesday we had Jolly Babies, and we were really surprised when Nanny turned up too! I walked in between Mummy and Nanny and generally just had fun.

Tuesday afternoon I had to have my MMR jab. It wasn't very nice and I really screamed on one of the injections and upset Mummy too.

Mummy afternoon was at our house and while I was napping the girls had fun playing with all my toys.

Wednesday we didn't do anything and on Thursday we had a house inspection in the morning from the landlord and then we went for a walk to the shops, library and park.

I got a few books out of the library as Mummy was getting bored of the ones at home.

Friday we went to swimming but I wasn't very well in the afternoon so we didn't make it to Twinkling Stars, which was a shame.

Saturday Mummy did the early shift and then Daddy took over at about 10:30am. Mummy didn't get up until after lunch and then we all just played in the house.

I sat with Daddy and read for a bit too which was really nice.

Sunday morning Daddy did the early shift and then Mummy took over at about 11am, although I hadn't actually gone to sleep.

For my afternoon nap, I went to sleep at 1:30pm and didn't wake until gone 4pm. This allowed Mummy and Daddy to just chill out together.

When I woke up we all went for a walk to the shops and then stopped in the park on the way home.

Anna was at the park with her Mummy, Nanny and Grandad. I went on the swings next to Anna and had a few goes on the slide before we went home for dinner.

Then we are back again to Monday! Sing and Sign was okay but not as good as last week, and then Daddy came home sick from work and went to bed while Mummy and I played downstairs.

I will hopefully keep a bit more up-to-date but there isn't anything that exciting happening at the moment.

14 Months

Mummy had to do the early shift and she didn't seem too tired.

We had breakfast straight away as it was nearly 8am by the time we had got downstairs and after Mummy took my 14 month pictures.

We played and read books until it was time for me to go back to bed.

Mummy went back to bed too and I didn't wake up until 11:45am, when Daddy came in to get me.

As soon as we got downstairs, the phone rang and it was for Mummy so Daddy took the phone up to her in bed.

It was Grandad Rennolds asking if we wanted to go out for lunch today. Mummy said yes but I had to have my lunch before we left.

Nanny and Grandad arrived at about 12:45pm and we went to their favourite local restaurant.

Mummy took lots of books for me and I was well entertained by Nanny and Grandad.

We stayed there for ages and I tried loads of food from everyone. I had prawns, olives, tomato, carrot, green beans, bread sticks, bread, garlic bread and some garlic salmon. It was all yummy and I hardly made any mess.

After the meal we took a walk over to the park and I had a very quick go on the swings. It was really, really cold and I didn't have a vest or proper coat on.

Back at our house I was feeling a bit sleepy so Mummy put me to bed and everyone else had a go on the X-box for a bit. They sounded like they were having lots of fun.

An hour later, I woke up and said goodbye to Nanny and Grandad.

I had a very small dinner before playing and reading with Daddy before climbing the stairs again and going for my bath and bed.

Macaroni Cheese

Wednesday and Thursday, we just stayed in and played in the house.

Mummy let me have her left over macaroni cheese pot one lunch time and I had loads of fun getting it into my hair and all over my face.

Friday we went swimming and Nanny was there with Chloe who swam for the first time with her arm bands on. It was so good to see as she has taken a long time to build up her confidence to finally lift her feet from the floor. I think Mummy is thinking of buying me some small arm bands soon.

Charlotte and Faith were already in the pool when we arrived and we had fun chatting, splashing and turning blue.

After lunch I had a quick nap before I had to be woken up to go to Twinkling Stars. I don't think I was awake for it properly and I didn't really do very much until about 10 minutes before the end.

I went through the tunnel again although I cried again too. I know I am big wimp but I just don't like it.

On Saturday it was supposed to rain all day so we didn't have anything planned.

Daddy did the early shift and then went out to get some new tyres put on his car.

When he got home we had our lunch and some playtime before I went back to bed.

In the afternoon Uncle Dave came over with an X-box but I didn't get to have a go.

Mummy went out for a walk to the shops in a bit of drizzle and I stayed in the warm playing with Uncle Dave.

I was suffering a bit in the early evening with my new teeth coming through so Mummy put some Calgel on them and they were much better. I did bite her finger though and she screamed. Ooops!

For the first time I climbed the stairs, all the way to the top on my own! It was really good fun and I hope I get to do it more often.

After I went to bed, Mummy and Daddy went out to a local pub for a quick meal. It was the first time since I was born that they had been out, just the two of them. They had a really tasty meal and I nice chat.

Then, Uncle Dave, Mummy and Daddy stayed up until 1:30am playing on the X-box. They must be mad!
