He went to the party while we were having our 4D scan, Uncle Dave took him. He had a brilliant time and even won the pass the parcel.
First thing Sunday morning as in 9:30am, Uncle Mark, Auntie Nicky, Megan and Elin came over for a visit. It's always nice to see them as we don't get to meet up often. Ellis is usually quite shy and doesn't really do hellos and goodbyes but he played nicely with Elin. Leo at one point after his nap took a liking to Megan and wouldn't let get of her neck. It was so cute.
Ellis grabbed the camera and took some pictures of everyone.
In the evening I went out with my best mate Auntie Lucy, her sister's Jaimie and Angela, my sister Kate and the Mum's.
We had a bit of a mixed meal. The desserts were cold and 2 people had to wait a while for their mains, plus they messed the bill up and then when it came to us dividing up the bill that was messed up too. Other than that we had quite a laugh and it was good to catch up with everyone.
It was really cold and icy that night and it was the first time I had drove the new car. Luckily I just stuck it into snow mode and drove fine.
No school on Monday for Ellis so we stayed in and thought about going out for most of the morning. The afternoon was supposed to be a Christmas Party for the kiddies of the Mummy group but it got reduced to just tea and biscuits for everyone and then the weather became worse and one by one people dropped out. The only people that made it round were Shazza, Sophie and Alexander.
Just before they arrived though I made everyone bundle up and shoved them into the garden. Little Leo loves being out and he hadn't even experienced the snow yet as he had been too ill to go out. They were wrapped up well though. Rob came out too and got the sledges out from the garage which proved a huge success. Leo is crying on the first pictures of him being put in one because he had just touched some snow and didn't like it. When he first went out in the garden though he loved it, just took off running! Ellis' first time was a lot slower and more of a build up to walking on it. We had an ace time.
We all sat around chatting, eating and drinking. It was a really nice afternoon and we did actually have a chance to chat.
Early physio appointment tomorrow, just hope the snow doesn't stop me from going.
