Footsie

Well, I didn't sleep that badly. Mummy had to keep coming in to check on me and to move me back up the cot but I went straight back to sleep.

We had Jolly Babies again which was really nice. I had really missed it and everyone looked so different. It's amazing what a difference 2 weeks can make.

For lunch Mummy let me have my very own bowl! It was stuck down though so I was unable to throw it around. I felt like such a grown up.





We went straight to Charlotte and Faith's house after so that Mummy could have lunch there. I got to play with Faith's toys which was great.



While the Mummies ate there food I was put in a walker. I'm not that sure on how to use one yet but I had a good go. It was easier to move on the wooden floor compared to the carpet at Nanny and Granddad Rennolds' house.



For my afternoon nap I was put in Faith's bed. It was really comfy but I wasn't too sure about the pink sleeping bag. I don't think it suited my complexion. For some reason I didn't sleep long and Mummy came to get me 30 minutes later.

Then the rest of the gang arrived for Mummy afternoon. I can't believe it is that time again. Anna and I sat quite close together and we were caught playing footsie.

I think Mummy had a really good time. She had lots of cuddles with everyone. She even got to read to Iestyn and Sophie, at the same time.





We left just after 4 and went straight home to relax. I had some time in my door bouncer but I have a bad cold again at the moment so didn't stay in it for long.

Mummy struggled to get me to eat my dinner and bath time was okay until the plug was taken out and then I was just upset until I was fed and put to bed. I was shattered!

Double Dunkin

Sorry for the delay in doing the blog but Mummy has been spending her evenings watching her television programs. She has lots of things that she likes to watch; all 3 CSI's, ER, So you think you can dance, America's next top model, Criminal minds, Scrubs, Army Wives and a couple of others. This means that there is less time to type up my diary.

Anyway, the last week has just flown by! It is half term so there was no Jolly Babies or Twinkling Stars. Boo.

I was weighed this week and I am now 22lb 5oz. That is huge for my age and Mummy is now worrying that she feeds me too much.

Mummy afternoon this week was held at Naomi and Iestyn's house. Sarah and Toby were there this week and it was really nice to see them. Mummy grabbed the opportunity to do some group photos of all of us as well as a few others.





















On Thursday Mummy was bored so we went up to Nanny and Granddad Rennolds' house. We didn't stay longer than 30 minutes as Mummy had forgotten my food and we had to go home again.

Swimming was really good this week. I was dunked twice! Mummy did the usual dunking when we first got into the pool and then Nanny, later on, fell over and dropped me in the pool. I was having loads of fun bobbing along on the bottom of the pool but poor Nanny hurt her knee and was very upset about dropping me. Don't worry Nanny I was okay.

Nanny, Auntie Katie, Chloe and Kamron came over for a cuppa and some bits to eat which was really good as I got to sit with Nanny and my cousins and read some books. I love doing that.











In the afternoon we went around to see Sally and Anna. It was just the 4 of us which was nice for a change. I got to play with loads of toys and Anna was in a really good mood and gave us loads of smiles, which of course made Mummy very happy. We stayed quite a while. Mummy was reminiscing about the pregnancy and early days of motherhood and she looked at loads of photos of Anna.

On Saturday Mummy and Daddy took me to the park and put me on a swing for the first time ever. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back again.







Mummy had a lie in on Sunday and then once we were all up we went to Leighton, Jaidan, and Sabriel's house for lunch.

While Mummy and Daddy were eating, I had a sleep in Sabriel's bed. It was really soft and spongy, not like mine which is quite hard. I couldn't go to sleep to start with but Leighton closed the black-out curtains and I was asleep in 5 minutes.

We went to the park again after lunch and I went on a swing again. I had loads of fun and Mummy was able to push me slightly higher this time.









Nanny and Granddad Rennolds came over for tea! It was so strange to see them in my house that late in the day. Nanny watched me eat my dinner and Granddad played with my stacking cubes with me. Then Nanny sat and read to me until it was time for my bath. Then Nanny and Granddad came to watch and play with me in the bath. I had so much fun, I hope they do it again soon.



After I went to bed, I could hear them all downstairs having fun playing cards and chatting. I didn't really sleep very well and I woke Mummy up at 3:20am with a full nappy. I was changed and Mummy tried to put me back to bed but I just wasn't happy with that. I was then put in Mummy and Daddy's bed but I wasn't happy with that either. I shuffled around for an hour so and then snoozed for about an hour before waking up ready to start the day.

The only thing with waking up so early is that by the time I have had my breakfast, I was ready for bed again but we had to go to yoga.

We left really early so that I could sleep in the car but I was still grumpy at yoga and had to be held by someone most of the time.

Mummy is hoping that I don't start to wake up in the night again. I have an annoying cough at the moment so that might be the reason. We shall see.

Mummy's Home

Yay, Mummy is home! I missed Mummy so much! Luckily she had left me a video to watch everyday so that I wouldn't forget her.



I also did a video for Mummy to take with her so that she wouldn't forget me. As if!



Daddy and I still had loads of fun. We went to Twinkling Stars and saw the rest of the gang and we went to visit Ashlee, Shauna and their Daddy Craig.

Daddy did really well with looking after me. Mummy left a very detailed schedule for him to follow, in fact it was 5 pages long. No I am not joking. It contained a list of dinners, a list of things to do, a list of what to take out with us, a list of general things to remember and a timetable of feeds and naps. Daddy was very grateful.



I turned 8 months old on the 5th April so Daddy took a couple of photos of me.







Mummy luckily had taken a few before she left.













Daddy spent a lot of time teaching me how to wave and to say Daddy. I am almost getting there now and we will soon have a video to prove it.

It was such a lush surprise to see Mummy first thing in the morning. I wasn't sure at first but I was soon really happy to see her.

At yoga all the babies were playing up, including me as I have yet another tooth coming through. This is my 6th tooth already. Mummy didn't get to do very much yoga so we all just sat around chatting.

I recently got to use a plate for the first time. It was quite difficult to pick the food up from it but I'm sure I will get the hang of it soon. Mummy was just really pleased that it hadn't ended up on the floor.





In the evening Mummy did a new game while I was having a bath. It was so funny, as you can see.



Mummy had an amazing time in Berlin. She got to hang out with her friends and just do what she wanted, when she wanted. It will take her a couple of days to recover but she is happy to be home with me again. Here are a few select pictures of her trip.



















No Jolly Babies this week so I don't know what we are going to be doing.

On Hold

Hi everyone, sorry, but the blog will be on hold for a bit as Mummy is going to Berlin for a girls weekend.

I will really miss her but I have Daddy to look after me and we are going to have loads of fun. I might even get the chance to re-paint Mummy's mug that I got for her.
