On Wednesday Mummy and I went to the big shops so that she could find an outfit for the wedding reception she is going to on Saturday. I just sat in my buggy and watched everyone rushing around.
Mummy had a really good time. She found her outfit without any trouble and we managed to have a relaxing lunch break too.
Back at home I had a sleep before we went back out to some other shops to pick up Mummy's new bike and helmet. We had to wait a long time and it was really hot, plus Mummy was carrying me, so we couldn't wait to get out.
Next stop was Nanny and Granddad Rennolds' house. We showed them Mummy's bike and had a cup of tea and a chat.
Chloe was there too and the poor thing fell over a small wall and scratched all her leg. It looked really painful and she cried a lot.
I played in the conservatory in the walker for a bit. I still haven't quite worked out how it should really work.
On leaving Nanny and Granddad's, Nanny was waving goodbye to me. I decided that now would be a good time to show off my new trick and I promptly waved back, much to everyone's delight.
We arrived home a little later than planned and Mummy had to rush around to get dinner ready for everyone before getting ready to go to her line dancing class.
Mummy left slightly later than normal but still arrived in good time.
Thursday was yet more shopping! Food shopping is horrible. I have to sit in this cold metal trolley, moving around backwards with all these old ladies coming up to me, pinching my cheeks and rubbing my hair! What is that all about! I made it known that I wasn't very happy all the way around the shop.
Poor Mummy was pulling her hair out by the time we got back in the car. But she wasn't giving up that easily and dragged me around a few other shops looking for a bag to go with her new outfit before we finally went back home.
I am starting to get better and pushing myself up on my knees. I don't think it will be long before I work it out properly.
Mummy was really tired in the afternoon and struggled to keep the energy up in order to entertain me. By 4:30pm Mummy called Daddy to come home from work to help out.
Daddy came home and pottered while Mummy did the dinner. We all sat at the table together to eat which was really nice and then Mummy cleared up the kitchen before going for a lie down.
Daddy and I messed around until bath time and then Mummy fed me and put me to bed. She then went out to her yoga class which she really needed and enjoyed.

Belly Flop
Even after going to bed so late, I still woke up at 6am. Mummy managed to ignore me for half an hour and then she came to get me.
I had my feed and then we were downstairs playing.
For breakfast, Mummy decided to use up one of my cereals but she didn't realise how much was actually left. I ended up with a huge bowl of cereal and banana! It was yummy though and I finished it all, much to Mummy's surprise.
After playing for a while I started to feel tired again so Mummy put me in bed for my morning nap. I have recently started to move around a lot more and at the moment because it is so hot, I am not in my sleeping bag; this means that I can get around my cot a lot easier and I have taken to sleeping in different positions. On my side is my favourite but today I decided to have a go on my front. The only problem with this is that I woke up with a hand print on my left cheek.
Next it was Jolly Babies. I had an amazing time, singing, dancing and playing with different instruments. I love going there and wish I could go at least twice a week.
We went home for lunch and my afternoon nap and then we met up with the other Mummies in the park again.
We all sat under the trees like last week and played with different toys and had snacks and drinks. My snacks today included crisps, a leaf, a bit of plastic from the biscuit wrapper, a cool bag, a book and a sponge ball. Mummy managed to retrieve the leaf but the plastic will probably end up in my nappy.
We went home and Daddy played with me while Mummy had a shower and generally pampered herself a bit.
Daddy was really busy cleaning and tidying up too. So much so in fact that he cleared away all my toys and left me to just roll around on the floor.
Mummy gave me my bath and feed and then I was in bed. I also had my last eye drops tonight which I am very pleased about.

Car Wash
Sing and Sign was good today. Every one was crawling around, apart from me of course, and making lots of noise.
Faith and Charlotte were there too, and Faith is looking so much better. She hasn't been well for a few weeks now so it was really good to see that she was smiling again.
After the class Mummy and Charlotte stopped in Sainsburys for an iced mango smoothie. I tried some too but it really hurt my teeth as it was so cold. It was yummy though.
We walked back home around the park but didn't stop as the sun was really strong and Mummy didn't have my hat.
I had marmite and cheese sandwich for lunch and Mummy had scrambled egg on toast. I made a lot of mess but Mummy didn't seem to mind.
I then played on my own for a bit so that Mummy could do the blog and then when I became sleepy, Mummy put me in my bed.
After my nap I had some time in the door swing. I still really enjoy it but I don't seem to go in it that often anymore.
Then Mummy and I went out in the car to the car wash. I've been through one before so was a bit worried about it all. Mummy gave me huge smiles and made lots of funny noises so I ended up enjoying it.
Not long after we got home Daddy arrived. We all had dinner and then Daddy read to me before Mummy gave me my bath. I was in bed at my normal time.
Then I woke up about 45 minutes later. Not really sure what was wrong. Mummy tried everything but I was just wide awake and every time I was put in my cot, I screamed! I didn't really cry but was just frustrated. I eventually went off at nearly 10pm! Poor Mummy was shattered and spent her evening sorting me out.

Ball Play
We met up with Simon, Tilly and Ethan for lunch on Sunday and I sat at the head of the table.
Mummy did a huge packed lunch for me. I had sandwiches, pasta, crisps, blueberries and a fruit pot. I had help to eat it all though as Ethan couldn't wait for his dinner to arrive.

After our food we went to sit outside so we could enjoy the warm weather. The big boys, Daddy, Simon and Ethan went over the road to a field to play a bit of football and I stayed with Mummy and Tilly playing with a rugby ball.

We went home via the car wash but the queue was too long so we went home. I was put straight into bed and I stayed there for about 45 minutes.
In the afternoon we all went to the park. I had a go on the swings and then Mummy and Daddy got an ice-cream and we sat under a tree just messing around. Mummy forgot her camera and the blanket so we didn't stay long.
Daddy spent the evening hoovering his car and Mummy and I just played inside. This weekend just flew by, can't wait until the next one.

Marmite Stir Fry
Nothing much happened on Thursday, and Friday was pretty boring too.
Friday is usually a very busy day for us but we had to go to the doctors as I have sore eyes. The doctor gave Mummy some eye drops to try and make things better.
Having bad eyes meant that I couldn't be around other children so Mummy said we couldn't go to Twinkling Stars. Boo.
Mummy spent the day in the kitchen cooking endless amounts of food for me to eat.
The finished result was yummy. Mummy put Marmite in the stir fry to add flavour, and I must admit, it worked.

Mummy also did lots of washing and as you can see, Mummy likes a very select amount of colours.

I had my afternoon nap as normal and then when I woke up Mummy let me play in my cot for a bit while she put away some clothes.

Friday night Mummy went out to a Line Dance. She had a really good time and a good workout.
There was a really bad storm during the night too but I missed it as I was asleep.
Saturday morning, Daddy did the early shift while Mummy tried to recover from the night before.
Daddy and I played loads and had lots of fun.
Daddy went back to bed at the same time as me but didn't get up until 12:40!
Tim and Kay, Daddy's old work friend and his fiancee, came to our house and then we all went to a pub for some lunch. Unfortunately they had stopped serving food so we had to go to another pub around the corner instead. I at this point was supposed to be asleep.

All the adults had food and drink and I had some milk and a bit of Mummy's bread before we went our separate ways.
We went to the shops and I had a good sleep and then we popped in to see Nanny and Granddad Rennolds. We didn't stay long as they were going out for a birthday party.
We were late home for my dinner and I was starving, but Mummy soon sorted it all out and Daddy fed me.
Bath and bed routine was normal but I wasn't ready to go to bed. I had had a late nap so wasn't too happy for about half an hour. Mummy and Daddy ignored me so I soon gave up and went to sleep.

Car Seat
I was put in my new big boys car seat today. It is well cool. I'm quite high up so I can see right out the window, I love it already.

Anyway, first thing we did in the morning was go back to bed. I woke Mummy up at 5am but somehow she managed to ignore me until nearly 7am. I didn't cry but I did moan a lot.
Nanny Rennolds popped in for a quick coffee and then Mummy and I went to the shops for some clothes. Mummy bought some linen cut off trousers, some shorts and some black 3/4 length trousers, and for me I got a 4 pack of t-shirts and some linen trousers that can be rolled up or down.

We then zoomed home and I was put back in bed for an hour.
After my nap we went back out to the shops to get some food and then we tried to get the car cleaned but the machine was broken so we went back home.
At home I played in the garden while Mummy hung the washing out and then we had a quick photo session before going in for my bath and bed.

Beautiful Day
I didn't sleep too well and this meant that Mummy didn't either. She came into my room at about 3:45am to shut my window as my room had cooled down and I was only wearing a vest to bed. Then I woke up at 5:50am and I wasn't going to go back to sleep. Poor Mummy had to get up with me.
Downstairs Mummy tried to go to sleep on the sofa but I wasn't happy to play on my own so she moved to the floor instead.
After breakfast, which I had early, I went back to bed at 8:30am, and so did Mummy.
We finally got up at 10 and we were soon out the door to Jolly Babies.
Before we went into the class, Mummy showed me the lambs and sheep that were in the field next to the car park.
The class was really full and everyone was in a good mood.
At home we had lunch and then I had a quick nap before we went to the clinic so that I could be weighed. I am now 22lbs 9oz and 76.5cm.
We then went to this big park right next to Charlotte and Faith's house.
The weather was amazing today so I was put in shorts and sandals again, that meant that Mummy had to smother me in all this white stuff to stop my skin from burning. She tried to make me wear a sun hat too but I pulled it off every time.
Mummies afternoon was held in the sensory garden part of the park. We all put our blankets down under some trees and had lots of fun chatting and having snacks and drinks.

We didn't get home until quite late and I had dinner at about 5:30pm.
Daddy got home just after 6 and played with me until it was bath time. He gave me my bath and then Mummy put me to bed. My room is still very hot so I was put to bed in just a vest again. Hope I sleep better tonight.

9 Months
I am now 9 months old! Here are the monthly pictures.

Sunday morning was quite boring. Daddy was out still fixing his car and Mummy and I just sat in.
Daddy came home after lunch and almost immediately, Mummy gave me a kiss and went out with Auntie Lucy.
I had my bottle and then Daddy took me in the car to drop Uncle Dave home. I fell asleep on the way home and Daddy had to wake me up to give me my dinner.
Mummy had gone out for a hen night in the centre of town. She had a really good time and here are some pictures of the night out.

The morning after, Mummy was feeling very tired but we had to get up and go to my friend Ashlee's birthday party. It was held in a Wacky Warehouse, which is basically a huge climbing frame with ball pools and slides. I had never been to one before so there was a lot to take in.

For the party Mummy had bought me a new shirt which you can see, I look very cute in.

I had a long cuddle with a lady called Liz. She is really nice and looked after me for ages.

Nanny helped me to be more confident with the balls and playing with the other children. I did end up having lots of fun, and so did Granddad.
Recently Mummy noticed that there was a large chip in her diamond engagement ring so we had to leave the party to go back to the shop where Daddy bought it.
All they said at the shop was that they would send it off to get an estimate of how much it will cost to fix it. Mummy wasn't very pleased about it all but she was happy that it was insured at least.
Next stop was the bike shop. Mummy tried one out and a few helmets and picked the ones that she wanted. Daddy then said he would order them online when we got home
I fell asleep in the car on the way back and was then very hyperactive all evening.
Mummy put me to bed in just a vest as it was so hot in my room. I wasn't interested in sleeping though anyway. I played around for about an hour and Mummy had to come in twice to try and sort me out. I eventually went off.
